Went to the ER for persistent dizziness and nausea, without even doing any testing past an EKG I was told "I'll be fine once I pee" and then the doctor left with no explanation. Mind you I'm disoriented and confused, so I'm freaking out about the lack of information anyone is giving me. I was clearly having a panic attack with trouble breathing and pins&needles/numbness in my hands. A nurse told me "that's not real. There's nothing that can give you those symptoms". Meanwhile I'm still on IV asking to go to the bathroom, but I'm told to finish the IV first. So once it's done I go to the bathroom and am told I was dehydrated (I wasn't) and "had the crud" and was promptly shooed out of the hospital. When I got the bill things weren't processed correctly and my insurance covered none of it, after some back and forth from my insurance and the hospital things were finally worked out. I set up a payment plan to cover the rest, I'm now contacted constantly by collection agencies because halfway through the plan their systems updated and my account with them was "locked" and I am currently trying to fix this. Just keeps getting worse, be warned (a month ago)

They do NOT care about you. I had an issue that was possibly fatal and refuse to provide care "to the best of their ability". Which is an Oath all doctors are supposed to practice all medicine by. I will NEVER go there again. Nasty Doctors, except Dr. Greenfield. He truly cares about people. They didnt even call to give me test results instead they called some other place and the other place called and said I need to see them, with zero explanation why (3 weeks ago)

I went there with pain in my chest and I got help very quickly and the whole emergency staff was very friendly and helpful so I had 2 get admitted when they took me 2 my room the Dr. And nurses greeted me with open arms and they were all very nice and helpful always checking in on me and asking if I needed anything 2 just buzz them they did all the test that they had 2 do and they did not make me wait for anything. Great staff now on the other hand the hospital itself is very old and, low budget and kind of creepy. But I appreciate everything that they did for me. (8 months ago)

After a misdiagnosis at Lehigh Valley hospital involving a CAT scan back in August for diverticulitis mistaken for food poisoning with no vomiting or diarea I was sent home and told it would take time to pass. 6 weeks later with not let up I went to my colon doctor Stacik who sent me for a CAT scan I went to Palmerton hospital for that he got immediate results and put me on Clyndimycin immediately to take care of all the infection that had set in. This past Saturday I was rushed to Palmerton hospital where I was diagnosed immediately with a leaky colon. To say that the care I got was excellent would be putting it mildly and sure I had previous history but the young hot very well dressed male and female doctors were lost in the fog! Some on here say it's noisy but what do you expect in a hospital when people need constant attention that some don't even require but I saw no discrimination on they're part. My choice will be St. Luke's Palmerton hospital for any emergency. (4 months ago)

This place is awful. I went there with an injury and it didn’t seem like anyone knew what they were doing. The nurse dropped the dressing and then still used it on my wound. I’m surprised the wound didn’t get infected. I found an old food tray under a chair. Who knows how long it was there. I had to stay over night and the staff was so loud I couldn’t sleep at all. They were gossiping and cursing. I never got the antibiotics I was suppose to get or the pain meds. Just a terrible place. (6 months ago)
