My daughter stayed overnight in their facility next to the emergency room entrance. I can’t express how unprofessional the nurse we were stuck with. No communication lack of interest in what she is doing. My daughter has disabilities and this women had no type transparency for us. The gentleman that was working as well came in our room and offered bottles of water and blankets, pillows around 2:00am. If it wasn’t for him I probably would’ve been shivering all night. The nurse wasn’t accommodating what’s so ever. As we are leaving no one gives me a notes of what I went in for explained the next step I had to ask who’s reaching out to me is there anything I need to know. I can’t express how unprofessional this is. You trust these people with significant others to help and where is the help or the communication. Improve in getting accommodating nurses with some type of personality. Leave your personal problems at home there’s no need for my child to deal with others bad humor. I wouldn’t even give this a one star more like -0 with the amount of staff you have and my daughter is stuck with a spanish lady who refused to speak in English. (in the last week)

I went to this hospital a few months ago because I had a broken foot. My doctor sent nurses to look at my foot but never actually came to see me herself. The nurses were great and super attentive. However, I received the wrong treatment because the doctor, Christa Patrick never actually came to see my foot. The nurses looked at my foot and then described it to her. Based on their description, I received X-Ray on my ankle, knee and hip, but never an X-Ray on my actual foot. A few days later I had to go to another doctor and receive numbers tests that this doctor missed. According to her expertise, I was able to walk without a problem and yet months later I still can't walk properly. The best part is that I have to pay the hospital bill (which I am fine with) and then there's a doctors bill. The doctor NEVER saw my foot and clearly didn't provide her expertise so what am I paying this person for?! Also, just wanted to give an update that I had a meniscus tear on my knee and dislocated bone after seeing another doctor. (2 months ago)

If you're sick and dying, or hurt, just die. It would be easier and cheaper on yourself and your family than going to this, or any other hospital. Came in for a tetanus shot. They charged me 700 dollars. Absolute thieves!!!!!! I cannot afford this bill!! It's 4 times what I make in a single month!!! Been calling for a WEEK now and they wont answer their phones to apply for Charity Care!! Now my bill is going to lapse into late fees and they'll tell me it's MY fault its late!! They want me to come in person to apply for charity care if I cant afford the bill, but I live in Ohio!! I was just visiting New Jersey for a wedding! They seriously expect me to drive 8-10 hours back to New Jersey, spend a weekend there, just to find out if MAYBE I am eligible for charity care? They are literally going to make me go bankrupt and these soulless people dont even CARE. They made me wait for THREE HOURS before someone finally walked in and gave me my shot, and then inflated the price to SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS because "A doctor diagnosed me." The doctor didnt do ANYTHING!! They walked in and asked me what happened!!! ANYBODY CAN GIVE ANYBODY AN INJECTION!! (a month ago)

After my dad was in a car wreck on Sunday (1.28.18), the hospital called and told to "come quickly your father is sick and in critical condition." When I arrived, i was told he was in bed 7. When I went to the bed 7, I saw him there, dead. No warning, dr, or nurse. Before leaving, the nurse handed his wife a bag of his belongings. I asked if his bracelet, which he wore for 50 years, was included. She assured me she put all his belongings in there – watch, wallet and BRACELET. When the wife got home, the bracelet was not there. Not only is my dad dead and their procedures unconscionable, most disturbing, they stole the bracelet and I robbed me of a precious and lasting memory. (5 months ago)

Admitted to ER Thursday April 19th, spend all day due numerous test conducted. The improvement is amazing both admitting and ER staff were superb. I am a state employment retiree and owner/resident of NORTH BERGEN, I am proud of this Hospital (2 months ago)
