Ended up here in an emergency situation and will be eternally grateful to the staff for saving my life. Everyone I encountered was so, so kind and caring. In particular I will never forget my emergency room nurses Bill and Randall for their attentive care, kind words, and gentle humor in what was the worst hours of my life thus far. (2 months ago)

I was admitted in the ER at Overlake last summer and spent five days in the Behavioral Health Unit last summer. I had a wonderful experience. The nurses in the ER were attentive to my needs (despite being very busy), caring, compassionate, nonjudgmental, and professional. The staff in the behavioral unit were caring, compassionate, empathetic, and wonderful! They really focus on helping patients feel better and more stable. The food is amazing also compared to some hospitals. Thank you for saving my life. (6 months ago)

Excellent Emergency room, there friendly, curteous and genuine. However I give 4 stars as they are very slow with wait times more than most ER's. (3 weeks ago)

If I could give this hospital zero stars I would. My wife went in for a breathing problem and they ran testing which they insisted they would find something wrong, after the testing they had no answers for why her breathing was so bad. Mind you they never mentioned she would be sick for hours and that they would need to inject a fluid into her blood stream. We then moved away to Florida and we recieved a bill about a year and 3 months later, the bill was 4800 dollars. The hospital did not bother to bill my wife’s insurance and then we went through a 4 to 6 month process for the hospital to bill her insurance, after telling us multiple times it had been too long for them to bill our insurance. Now today 2 and a half years later we are still currently dealing with this shotty at best hospital on a bill which they tried to shadily pitch to us. Sad to see such a gorgeous facility with more than capable doctors fall to a corrupt practice. (2 months ago)

Shady billing practices. Never called or sent bills to the address provided. Charged me 2 room fees for the same visit. Called billing to clear up and when informed they would investigate and get back to me they sent to collections 3 days later with no return of call. When calling back billing they inform they cant talk to me anymore and I need to deal with collector. Collector is charging 12% anum due to this issue. Was forced to pay for duplicate room bill (200 dollars) + a $60 finders fee to collector. Discuss with legal council and cost of hiring lawyer is more than the 260 dollar fee so I was extorted to pay it. Please be warned of the shady billing and never believe them if they say they are going to "investigate" duplicate billing entries. This is unfortunate because the hospital has wonderful staff in the ER... their administration is a much different story. (4 months ago)
