Folks, go anywhere but to this hospital! This hospital is like walking back into the 1950s. The antique air conditioning was hardly working. The room was so hot, we had to tape a blanket to cover the window to help keep the heat out. All the rooms had fans mounted to the walls to help cool the hot room. We were on the 5th. floor, one evening we herd someone talking rather loudly in the hall. I stepped out the door to see what was going on, and saw a vagrant with his bicycle in the hallway. A policeman was asking him to leave the hospital. . (a week ago)

Got into an e.r. very quickly. Wonderful drs and nurses. (in the last week)

The WORST experience ever. I wish I could give this place a zero rating. My veteran husband was transferred to this hospital (to which neither of us had ever been) and the experience is continuing to haunt us to this day. The night nurses and doctor refused to treat him for his medical conditions (which he was admitted for) and, even worse than that, gave him a damning report to the morning doctor. Why would anyone do that? So they would make us look bad instead of being in trouble for patient neglect? This is now a lawsuit. He would have been better off at home. Take your family and loved ones anywhere else! (6 months ago)

This hospital is where people go to Die. They frequently misdiagnose people here, and if you have anything serious going on, rest assured you'll probably be resting in peace by the time its said and done. The nursing staff is also quite lackadaisical about getting prescribed pain medications to patients on time. Would not recommend this hospital- Go to St. Francis or St. Johns instead!!! A family member had triple by-pass surgery here. The doctors. residents, nurses, and every other staff member we worked with were extremely nice and willing to help. Everything was explained in detail and we were kept updated during the long surgery. The people at OSU Med Center made a very difficult situation much better. (6 months ago)
