I rate 3 stars simply because of maybe the nurse in charge of ER 5/22/18, Ms. Taylor Avery. My husband was receiving chemo treatment at the Cancer Center in the same parking lot. He had an allergic reaction. The nurses there gave him meds to reverse the reaction until the EMT could arrive and transport him across the parking lot to ER. WELL, what a warm and caring welcome received! Mrs. Avery precedes to tell EMT he should have called before he got there. She has no beds avail. Another nurse comes up to try to turn the situation around. Mrs. Avery tells her, " this "s***t" falls back on me". I was ready to say something when other nurses on duty came to my husband and put him in an ER room. The nurses that attended to him were very professional and showed compassion. My complaint really goes to Mrs. Avery. Her first priority was to the patient, NOT to make others feel incompetent or inferior, for they know just as much as she does. Second, if she had a problem with EMT, she should have confronted them AFTER the patient was in a room NOT while waiting in the hall! Her ethics were unprofessional and showed no empathy at all. I do want to thank the other nurses for being kind, caring and pleasant. Mrs. Avery owes them a thank you as well! For they were the ones that turned this bad experience around. Maybe Mrs. Avery needs to take lessons from them! (a month ago)

The support staff was good but the Emergency room doctor and the Hospitalist never did a Neuro exam on a child who came in with a head/neck injury after cheer incident. They never once asked her to open her eyes nor touch her. I was absolutely dumbfounded and could not believe it. Be careful and aware when taking you loved one there. (a week ago)

All doctors are outsourced and are incompetent. If you ever recieve attention from a doctor you're lucky but only if they can diagnose you quickly. If you aren't diagnosed quickly they will forcibly send you to a mental hospital or arrest you. Your choice. (3 weeks ago)

Small town hospital where everybody knows everybody.. Sometimes can be good, sometimes not so great. Staff is very compassionate and caring.. Greatly appreciated (3 months ago)

This is a pretty good hospital. They got me back quick and the Doctor, nurse and CT lady were all really nice. The only reason they got a 4 star instead of 5 star is because after my tests came back I was still having a lot of pain and the doctor came in and told me he was going to go put in for more pain medicine for me. I confirmed he did put in for the medicine right away but it took the nurse over an hour to bring it in. I paged them a couple of times and asked about it and my husband asked about it, but the nurse forgot to bring it for a good while, so by the time she did bring it in I was in horrendous pain. It was in the middle of the night and they were slow so I'm not really sure why it was such a long wait when the orders were already put in, but it honestly may not have been the nurses fault, she may not have just forgotten about me and the meds, that was just the thought I had at the time. In all honesty, this is an emergency room, so she could have been busy doing something else at the time. Over all, this is a really nice, clean hospital. Very friendly staff. (6 months ago)
