Oaklawn truly has the best people and provides the best care. We are lucky to have a hospital of this quality in Marshall! Our daughter was born here too, and the experience couldn't have been better! (2 months ago)

Dr. Cook in the ER I just want to say thank you for making sure my mother got proper treatment last night. We have never been through this situation in our life as a family. I saw how you advocated for my mother. I and my sibilings appreciate you and your staff. May God bless you all because your job is not easy. (3 months ago)

I don’t even want to give them a star! I have been sitting here for OVER 3 hours. I came here because I’ve had very bad abdominal pain, lower back pain, and other issues that consisted with that for the last 3 weeks. I couldn’t handle it anymore so I came her. I Was told NOT to pee so they could do further testing. Have not seen a Dr. , Nurse, nobody. Just had to call a nurse into my room because I had to pee so bad. She didn’t tell me how much longer I had to wait. She was rude! She’s like “can you pee a little? And save a little?” I told her I probably couldn’t because I had held it in for 3 hours and it was hurting me. She rolled her eyes and hugged and she made it a point to say “well if you can’t hold your pee, then plan on being here longer. We’ll need you to drink more water.” O.o And now because I HAD TO go pee because I was in a lot of pain. Which by the way was the longest most powerful pee I’ve ever peed in my life! (TMI, but no way I could stop my flow) I have to wait another hour to fill my bladder. Then probably another hour or 2 to get the results. Then blood work. This hospital is suuuuper dirty. Plan on waiting HOURS if you come here, which I do NOT recommend. At all. They are super slow. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE! (4 weeks ago)

Worst hospital ER I have ever been to. I waited for over 2 hours to be seen. I was following up after a visit to an urgent care ruled out a broken foot but the pain was getting worse. After being in pain close to a week with no cause I was at the end of my nerves. They proceeded to tell me that the x Rays I had 4 days prior might not have showed a break, so they repeated them. 45 minutes later a nurse came in to tell me it wasn't broken and wrapped my foot. At this point I met with a doctor assistant and nurses, I had not even met the doctor yet. He finally came in to tell me it wasn't broken and they were sending me home. When I asked what was causing me pain he told me he didn't know. I asked about other tests so I could know where to go next as well as treatment to alleviate my paid (i.e. crutches, rest, etc.). Instead of answering my questions he turned and left my room. I was given more help at an urgent care facility than this hospital. I am still in pain with no answers and wasted my time and money with this place. I will die before ever returning to this hospital. I recommend if possible to avoid this ER at all costs. Worst experience ever. (4 months ago)

This place is a joke. Went in and waited a hour and a half to be seen then the doc told us he was going to get my son apple juice and it was 2 hours later and still haven't heard from him went searching and saw not 1 person so we just decided to leave. Would not recommend this dump (3 months ago)
