Oaklawn truly has the best people and provides the best care. We are lucky to have a hospital of this quality in Marshall! Our daughter was born here too, and the experience couldn't have been better! (a week ago)

Dr. Cook in the ER I just want to say thank you for making sure my mother got proper treatment last night. We have never been through this situation in our life as a family. I saw how you advocated for my mother. I and my sibilings appreciate you and your staff. May God bless you all because your job is not easy. (2 months ago)

Worst hospital ER I have ever been to. I waited for over 2 hours to be seen. I was following up after a visit to an urgent care ruled out a broken foot but the pain was getting worse. After being in pain close to a week with no cause I was at the end of my nerves. They proceeded to tell me that the x Rays I had 4 days prior might not have showed a break, so they repeated them. 45 minutes later a nurse came in to tell me it wasn't broken and wrapped my foot. At this point I met with a doctor assistant and nurses, I had not even met the doctor yet. He finally came in to tell me it wasn't broken and they were sending me home. When I asked what was causing me pain he told me he didn't know. I asked about other tests so I could know where to go next as well as treatment to alleviate my paid (i.e. crutches, rest, etc.). Instead of answering my questions he turned and left my room. I was given more help at an urgent care facility than this hospital. I am still in pain with no answers and wasted my time and money with this place. I will die before ever returning to this hospital. I recommend if possible to avoid this ER at all costs. Worst experience ever. (2 months ago)

This place is a joke. Went in and waited a hour and a half to be seen then the doc told us he was going to get my son apple juice and it was 2 hours later and still haven't heard from him went searching and saw not 1 person so we just decided to leave. Would not recommend this dump (a month ago)

My daughter went to the emergency room in severe pain, ultrasound found several stones in her bladder. proscribed her pain med and told her they would schedule a surgery appointment. She found out her appointment was 2 weeks away. 2nd visit to emergency room in same week with blood stools and severe pain, vomiting, unable to walk, work, or watch her 4 month old baby it was so bad. They gave her more meds and told her the surgeon would call her with appointment. after 2 weeks of waiting, she finally got the stones out today. Surgeon asked her why she waited so long because it was the worst she had ever seen. 1 stone was lodged in her bladder tube and the rest had cut her inner bladder very bad. Surgeon said if she new it was that bad she would have done emergency removal. Band aide factory. This is why everybody goes to Borgess. (a week ago)
