I had a total knee replacement done on July 25, 2017. My experience was excellent. The nurses were very caring, the facility was great, and my doctor did a great job. Keep up the good work.. (2 months ago)

I've had to take my parents here (for the ER) a few times and every time has been a total nightmare and usually would take somewhere around 8-10 hours for the whole visit. These have usually been at night after 5-6pm during week nights (normally you would think it would be much better than on the weekend). It takes us about 3-4 hours in the waiting room, then they check vitals and send us back out to waiting room for another few hours, then when we finally get back to triage we will be in a room back there for an hour, then someone will come in to take vitals, then leave and then another hour or so before getting CAT scans or X-RAYS, then another couple hours, and finally have a doctor come in, ask a few questions and then document everything and tell us to wait for discharge paperwork, which my take another hour, etc. Seriously, if anything ever happens to me, I'm hoping my family drives into Charlotte to take me to Presbyterian-Novant down there. My experience at Novant Huntersville was AWESOME! I had a total knee replacement last December and was there for 2 days. Those 2 days were my best days ever in a hospital! Everyone, including Housekeeping, we're SO kind, respectful and helpful ! I could write a book about my experience; it was 100% positive! Even the FOOD was delicious!!!!! (3 months ago)

I took my 6 year old to find out why he has severe rash on his face and it was spreading to his neck! No test were done the so called doctor had no clue and just referred him to a dermatologist. I left and brought him to another novant hospital and he has impetigo! Why couldn't the doctor here figure that out he didn't even try to help us! I do not recommend this place at all... Very slow ER, some employees are not friendly at all, and really NOT good for elderly patients...the staff in the ER didn't seem to know how to care or handle them. (in the last week)
