Not only is this facility gorgeous and comfortable inside, but also each and every single person with whom I came in contact was helpful, considerate and professional. They made me feel calm and in good hands. To say mine was a positive experience is an understatement. -Bobby Scott (3 weeks ago)

I have been a patient of Doctor Ferber for the past 20 years. I have had certain serious medical issues for most of that time. I have yet to find a better Doctor or a better place to see him. NCH has been and continues to be the very best at all around medical care. I have found the people who surround him top notch. They are all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I wouldn't want to go anyplace else. The very best care anywhere. (3 months ago)

I was having severe chest pains and was having difficulty breathing one morning. I waited a while, took my asthma medicine and used my inhaler. After an hour I called 911. They came immediately, checked me out and recommended going to the nearest emergency care facility, the Northwest Community Hospital emergency room. I was seen for evaluation by a doctor and then they ran some tests for possible heart involvement. I received a breathing treatment from a respiratory therapist. All tests came back negative, so I was released in a few hours to see my own doctor about my asthma medication. My treatment at NCH was quite thorough and the 911 staff were very efficient. I have used NCH on numerous occasions, for things such as routine mammograms as well as for more non-routine surgeries for me and my husband .Most recently I went to the ER there for an xray following a fall. I have always found the care I receive there to be excellent and the physicians, nurses and other staff to be efficient and caring. I highly recommend. (in the last week)

Came here with our 2 year old daughter for a breathing emergency and had to stay overnight. One of the most important treatments that was scheduled for her to get better was a breathing treatment that was supposed to have been done every 3 hours. These people did it once (which is when they told us about the schedule) and then forgot to do it the next 2 times, missing over 6 hours of treatment. This is a 2 year old child. Come on. If you choose to get treated here, pay attention to what they tell you and set your alarms to make sure you're treated on time (or at all), or better find a better hospital where they actually do what they need to and treat you. Total incompetence. The people there were very nice. Unfortunately, if I wanted nice people, I could've found them at a local gas station. I needed the hospital to treat my daughter, and unfortunately that didn't happen. I'm sure the bill, however, will reflect that all treatments were done. I just wish the doctors and staff here were as good at their jobs as their accounts receivables department and my daughter didn't have to suffer because of it (3 months ago)
