Both of my children were born here. I just can't put into words how amazing the staff is. Facilities are great and the environment is so friendly. (3 weeks ago)

If I could only give them half of a star, that would be more accurate. A few staff members were somewhat friendly and/or courteous. A Social Worker on the 5th floor should NOT be there, have her licenses revoked and lose her job for what she told a family member. Said family member checked themselves out because of what she said and the hospital staff didn't bother to contact us. We were 2 1/2 hours away. If something bad happens because of all this, I will sue them! Worst hospital I have ever seen. Do not take your loved ones there. Atleast not to the 5th floor. (in the last week)

I have had somewhat good and some other not so great experiences at RMC. My ER experiences were okay for the most part. As for the other, I was there with my aunt. She was the patient and the nurse's on that floor were rude. I believe that when someone goes into the medical field, it should be for the love of caring for the sick and dying or injured, not for the money. So many are there for the latter. I go to Birmingham for major things. RMC is alright for other things that are more minor. It is a matter of preference for all people. If someone goes there, and the sum of their entire experience was good, then chances are, they will go back. It is not my favorite hospital but it is okay. I prefer other hospitals to it for all major things. Better doctors are often elsewhere and usually Birmingham. (2 months ago)

I had a partial nephrectomy surgery at this hospital on December 19, 2017 with Dr. Phillis. The nurses and the doctor was exceptionally well. Everyone explained to me just what was going to happen during surgery. I ended up staying two days in the hospital and the nurses were there every time I needed something. I would definitely go to the hospital again. (3 months ago)

Personally I think that some of the nurses and doctors that works in the ICU. are nice but there are some that is just plan rude. It hard to get the doctors to come and talk to you about a loved one. (2 weeks ago)
