This facility is excellent! I have worked over 40 years in patient care and this is the best I have seen. The entire staff was very repectful and courteous. They made every effort to insure patient satisfaction and understanding. I would highly recommend this facility to my family and friends! (in the last week)

Went to a doctor on the outside of North Suburban and was checked out for 2 week old burns to both arms. The burns were almost fully healed but decided to get them checked out to see what the long term damage would be. Went to the burn clinic and it took about 15 minutes to get registered then I seen a nurse who took my dressing off and checked my blood pressure. The Doctor comes to the room and maybe said 5 words to me then I wait another 20 minutes for the nurse to come back and re gauze my arms. Get a bill from North Suburban for over 2000.00 they are charging me for an operating room service. When I called to ask about it the first person said it was for a cat scan, the 2nd person i spoke with said that i was charged for the OR room because of the room i was in when the nurse put gauze on me! No other explanations as to why they are saying its an operating room when clearly it wasn't. The nurses were very nice but this place made me see why insurance is so expensive, The doctors office just charge what ever they want to and insurance pays for it. I would have never noticed this but My insurance called to ask why i had surgery for. How many times do they get away with billing for something that was not done. I will definitely be getting someone to look over my bills and help me get to the bottom of this. I have also asked the insurance to investigate this. (a month ago)

I just got out minutes ago. The staff including Karen treated me so fairly and beyond. They were not judgmental and gave me the help I needed promptly. I felt I could be honest and open! I am ecstatic with their care team! I would disregard to an extent many negative reviews. This hospital knows what they're doing and if such service wasn't presented I'm sure it was in high volume. Sometimes we get scared as patients but I know North Suburban was well educated and directs what is necessary. Also, a thank you to Dr. Thomas Paluska! (3 months ago)

The er nurses are RUDE if you don't like your job, find another one nurses are supposed to be caring and giving... Security and rest of staff was nice that's what the one star is for asked for water told after test results after we got the results back I still didn't get a cup of water.. And I couldn't go out of my room cause I was hooked to a billion things... The nurses talked to Me like I was their 5 year old child in trouble..no fluids or food for the 10 hours I was there.. Definitely NEVER going back here (a month ago)

My daughter had to have an MRI here. The staff starting at registration Joe and Lorraine were wonderful! The MRI specialists Jennifer and Robert were amazing! They made sure my daughter was comfortable and even got her a cookie when they were done! When we were walking out someone from cardiology, I believe her name was Andrea, even asked if there was anything else we needed before we left. Such wonderful experience and a great place!
