Being asked sarcastically why I am there multiple times on a Sunday night after explaining to them my symptoms made me very livid. I don't know what's going on bro, sorry to ruin your peaceful Sunday night at the ER. Went to Saint Francis in Wichita when I had my last major episode and had a much better experience. I was treated with respect, they listened, and did what they could do for me. I'm not sure if everyone hates their job at Newton Medical Center, but it's time you get it figured out because from talking to people, I'm not the only one. I decided to change my rating to 3 stars after receiving an MRI recently. The MRI department was superb and the staff was great. If I could write two reviews the MRI team would have a five star rating and I would keep the ER rating at one star. (3 weeks ago)

I am from out of state and have worked in a number of Inpatient rehabilitation Centers. My recent experience grades NMC Inpatient Rehabilitation staff as top notch. Newton is truly blessed to have such caring and competent professionals! (3 weeks ago)

Staff and service was amazing! So kind and polite and caring! They take their job seriously and don't belittle you. (a week ago)

Had to take my mother to the ED this past week and the wait times were long, staff were not quick to do anything. Staff at the desk were talking loudly about personal life and complaints of having to do extra office work while higher ups sit around. Nurse was rude with my mother and did not seem to understand that she has dementia. Lab tech was very kind and caring. I was not pleased with the overall experience. (3 weeks ago)

They did well with my mother when she was alive. But, the ER treated me horribly. The nurse and phlebotomist were demeaning, rude and treated me like I was a drug addict. I was dizzy and confused. I needed help not attitude. They nurse blew my vein with the IV. It was when I got home that I noticed my arm was swollen. They made me give them a UA while I was on my period. Supposedly, it was for a medication they were going to give me. To make sure I wasn't pregnant. I looked up the medication later, there was no need to be that careful. I would NOT recommend this hospital. (2 months ago)
