This hospital is my second home. After being a patient here for over 4 years I trust this hospital blindly with my life as well as my health. I have gotten two surgeries here from my orthopedic doctor Paul Isaack. I wouldn’t choose any other hospital for any emergency. Also, another patient whom this hospital took care of was my grandmother until her very last breath, and I can’t even begin to explain how empathetic, and compassionate this hospital was with my family, and my grandmother. They treated her like a Queen, and anyone who is under their care will be taken care of very well. There aren’t enough words for me to explain how grateful and appreciative I am for this hospital and their services. Thank you New York Presbyterian for taking care of your patients with the utmost care. Best hospital in NYC! (a week ago)

Recently went to the ER here with mixed feelings. Firstly, this was my shortest visit to an ER. They really got me in and out fast. This included a CAT scan and blood tests. What surprised me was that the nurses gave me the test results as they came in. The doctor only cam back just before I left, handing me a package of documents and not offering much info. I then asked some questions (having already gotten much of my info already). Is this the new way? I would probably return as it is the closest hospital and it wasn't a horrible experience. (in the last week)

Are hospitals takes 8 hours or more to admitting the patient after all the testing are completed at the ER? My father were admitted to this hospital 2X within 2 weeks. Both times takes more than 8 hours waiting at the ER, and no one even come to inform our family the admitting situation. I thought this hospital should be getting better under new ownership! Best customer service in the NYC hospital system. They were so patient and helpful while my grandmother was in her last stages and explained everything carefully and respectfully to my family. They were extremely compassionate and I recommend them to anyone. (3 weeks ago)

Wow what an amazing change from NYU downtown to NY Presbyterian! We’ve been here when it was NYU and i can tell you the horror stories (but i shouldn’t). When my wife’s doctor changed his location to this hospital we were hesitant at first but ultimately gave it a chance because the hospital changed ownership. Maybe it’s because the hospital is trying to change their image or maybe it’s a completely different staff, regardless of the reason we were both shocked and pleasantly surprise by the entire staff not just the doctors and nurses. Even the cleaning staff greets you when they come in the room. Amazing doctors and nurses who really try to help and inform you on what are the best choices for you and not what makes the most money for the hospital. Also big thanks to the entire staff at the NICU for caring for my baby in his first week of life. You guys are awesome! (3 months ago)
