This place doesn't care about people. Just a job to these folks here they don't care about people! I've had multiple bad experiences at this hospital where they have miss scheduled me and then turned me away to a later date when I was feeling sick. The 1 star is because they have a star employee I have encountered many times and she's the only reason I have to come here. Wish I had more options but this is it for where I live and I dread having to deal with Montrose hospital! (a month ago)

Writing this from my gurney in the ER. Dr Yeowell and the entire ER staff have been kind, compassionate and professional. I’m really impressed by the whole team here. This little town is lucky to have such a great ER. (7 months ago)

I came to MMH on 7/13/17 while on vacation after a hiking fall. I had clearly broken my wrist and Dr. Walker and the entire desk/ER staff could not have been nicer and more caring to me and concerned about my family while they waited for me. Although it was clear that surgery would be required back home in Phoenix, Dr. Walker reduced the broken bones in my wrist and wrapped it in place for our drive back to Arizona the next day. Although it was a painful circumstance that brought us to Montrose Memorial Hospital ER that afternoon, we still talk about the outstanding service and sincere caring we were shown during our visit. Every hospital could take a lesson on patient care from this ER staff! Prompt, professional, and so caring and kind to my entire family. VERY impressed!!!!! Thank you!!!!! (10 months ago)

I used to love this hospital, unfortunately my visit today was very upsetting. Iv been a chronic pain patient for about a year now, came in because the pain meds I had at home were not helping. But I guess if those are medications your prescribed regularly from your family physician they cannot help you in the hospital. Very sad and disappointed. I will probably not return. :( (7 months ago)

Always treated me with respect and took good care of me! At least Montrose hospital wasn't trying to kill me like Delta. The ER is better at Montrose than Delta. I fell in Jan 2017 & I broke my foot and messed up my ankle and a friend took me to delta ER. I had get myself out of the wheelchair put myself on the bed with help from a friend and the nurse just stood there and didn't try to help with that. Then when I needed to use the restroom the call button for the nurse didn't work, the stupid thing wasn't even connected to the room. So if I had allergic reaction to some medicine and needed help we couldn't hit the button, my sister would have to run down to find a nurse. On top of that the Nurse at Delta ER gave me graham crackers to take with some medicine. It says right on the front of my chart; that I have Celiac Disease. The crackers had wheat in them plus gluten! DUGH!! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that I can't have the crackers!!! Plus the ER was empty, they were up at the nurses station gossiping! I WILL NOT GO TO DELTA HOSPITAL! Montrose or St. Mary's for serious illnesses. (6 months ago)
