We were absolutely amazed at how incredible the staff and the food and the volunteers were. The building is beautiful with the fountains and artwork and looks like a new hospital. The meals were so good and they customized when requested ( my husband asked for ham to be added to his omelette ha ha ) I was constantly getting lost trying to navigate the building and every single time I had everyone from doctors to janitors always stop and ask if I was OK and needed directions. Every single staff member visit to our room greeted us cheerfully and asked us what else we needed. We must have had 30 different staff members in the course of our visit and every single one was smiling and cheerful and so helpful. Even though the nurses were busy every one of them visited and talked and listened to all my husband wanted to discuss. So thankful to God for our successful surgery and visit and pleasantly surprised by the hospitality here!! Special shout out to all our nurses and techs - Nikki Anna Lawrence Rahel Shirley Christina Candace and Felicia!! (a month ago)

The nurses here were amazing and super attentive during my stay following a surgery. We were even able to get a suite room for a little extra up on a top floor (totally worth the money). Of course hospital food is never the best, but theirs was better than most I’ve had by far in comparison and the rooms were nice and clean. (4 weeks ago)

The doctor that did my surgery was great. The anesthesiologist and every one else was great. However, The nurse that had to put my I.V. in was awful. She pushed the needle so far until I screamed. I've never had this happen before. After surgery, the oxygen tube was in my nose. One of the nurses took it out of my nose and placed it in my mouth. That's just gross. I was coming out from under the anesthesia, but I remember this. (a month ago)

My brother was admitted for a somewhat simple procedure and less than 2 weeks later he died because of negligence by doctors, respiratory therapy and others. A major lawsuit will be filed. This has been a nightmare and his family has been lied to every step of the way. This hospital has gained a reputation as being a death trap. You come in for 1 thing and all hell breaks loose. The staff killed my brother. Respiratory therapy is a joke. They don't know what they are doing they introduced bacteria into my brother's trachea and in a few days he had staph and pneumonia and everything else you can imagine. They don't consider black people to be important enough to help them so they let them die because they don't matter. They didn't give us correct information about his condition until it was too late to move him to a more capable hospital to treat him. Doctors are moving their patients to other hospitals because they don't like the care or lack of care they're receiving. (2 months ago)

My grandfather was admitted to this hospital a few days ago and had some serious health issues he was in ICU for several days, after a few more days had passed a social worker had come in his room and told my family and my grandfather " they have other people waiting in the Emergency Room and they need his room for another patient and that because he did not have Insurance he could not stay in the room " So my family and my grandfather were so worried that he would be sent home with no care and he seriously needed care. He was discharged and 3 hours later he was rushed to another Hospital and immediately was put on a ventilator and is now back in ICU I will be taking my complaint to the Texas Medical Board. Please Please Please if you love your family member and want them to LIVE DO NOT TAKE THEM TO METHODIST DALLAS IT IS A DEATH TRAP (a month ago)
