The nurses on my floor(5 west)were amazing. Kept me laughing and comfortable while I was in pain. Very helpful and caring staff. Rooms were kept clean and the food was good during my stay. Emergency room was crazy busy with flu patients so it did take a while to be seen, but I did understand. (4 months ago)

Mother in law came for major surgery doctors and staff great doing surgery and care in icu great but after moving her out of icu to to another room on thrid floor care went straight out the window ring bell for nurse waited up to 45 minutes for 1 to show up or they would come in and say they would be back in 5 minutes and would actually be hours day shift not to bad night shift the worst (a week ago)

I WENT IN THERE WITH PAINS IN MY HESRT AT 10 30PM AND THE DR CAME IN A HALF HOUR LATER SAID HE WOULD GET ME FEELING BETTER, LOWER MY PAIN AND NAUSEA, AT 2 45 AM I WAS STILL LAYING THERE IN PAIN BECAUSE HE ORDERED NOTHING, SO I WALKED OUT OF THAT HOSPITAL, STILL PAINS IN MY HEART AND WENT TO FREDERICK MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AND THEY WAS SO NICE AND HELPED ME RIGHT AWAY , IT TURNS OUT I WAS HAVING A HEART ATTACK..I DO NOT RECCOMEND ANYONE GOING TO MERITUS MEDICAL HOSPITAL.. (3 weeks ago)

On a Friday night 1. Came in through ambulance the day of a mva (motor vehicle accident), instantly got a room but it took a while to get an x-ray and cat scan done (at least 3 hours). Got the results quickly (qithin 15 minutes) On a Sunday morning 2. Came in about a day after a mva (motor vehicle accident) complaining about collar bone pain with a hard lump right below my collar bone, they x-rayed my back and gave me some muscle relaxer and ice and sent me off my way after waiting for 2+ hours to get a room and at least an hour in the room. The workers are very nice and lively though, kept me laughing and smiling. Service is usually extremely slow in the ER. But, in the Hospital section the service is great from what family members have told me. (2 months ago)

My Goal when Meritus was Built was to Avoid having to Use Our New Hospital. ..Needless to Say that didn't Work Out. Meritus is a Great Place to be if You have to be at the Hospital. ..the Staff is Caring and Efficient, Everyone has There Own Room, which is always a Plus. It's Clean, the Cafeteria Serves Great Tasting Food Even to Patients. (4 months ago)
