Patients would do better going to County Creek Animal Hospital. If you need emergency testing on the weekend you are out of luck. How they could receive a Joint Commission certification is amazing. (a month ago)

I think what the general public does not realize is that small hospitals are only capable of doing so much, unfortunately. Also, every hospital has its pros and cons. In my 5 years working in EMS, in several different counties, i’ve seen a ton of different hospitals, ProMedica Monroe is pretty good for only being a small community hospital and level III trauma center. I’ve seen many critical patients (strokes, heart attacks, etc) handled efficently in the ER here. The nursing staff is phenomenal and MD’s are knowledgable in my opinion. If they get something major that they know needs a higher level of care, they will not hesitate to transfer out to a bigger hospital; they’re good at doing whats best for the patient. Now even though PMRH is not my first choice (i don’t live in Monroe), it’s nice to know if something was to happen to me at work i’d receive good care here. (a week ago)

Waiting over 20 mins in the ER waiting room and saying they had NO beds and short staffed. The girl behind the desk went and got an EMT and he told us to stop hareassing her that is wasn't her fault! Very sad indeed! (a month ago)

Every time I come here no matter if it's serious or not, they take forever. I feel like they have hundreds of nurses but take forever to do anything and everything! The wait is ridiculous. Other than that, MOST nurses are welcoming but some are rude and disrespectful in my eyes. I only come here if I absolutely have too. (3 months ago)

Super scary hospital. Third world medicine in the USA. Went to the ER after suffering a bleeding ulcer as well as severe Chrohns attack with non stop vomiting over a holiday weekend. I've suffered with Chrohns for over 7 years and have been told it is one of the most painful things a person can suffer from. Worse than labor for me. Doctor came into my room imediately and told us that they didn't have any medication in the ER. No iv fluids, nothing. He said the best he could do is a Tylenol, and literally popped one extra strength Tylenol out of a blister pack and tried to hand it to me. I couldn't even hold down water. In all my 42 years, I've never heard of a hospital without medication or fluids. Never. Don't Come Here if You Want to Live to See Another Day. Urgent Care is 100% better than this "hospital".
