The MOST HORRIBLE ER service I’ve ever seen! I understand that an ER is a hectic place and that it is so often understaffed that it’s hard to cater to every single patients needs. But this is flat out ridiculous. My mother who is 71 and I (who are STILL here by the way) came to the ER because she’s been having a fever for 7 days and we’re instructed by her primary doc to seek help since the medicine he gave her didn’t do anything to help her fever. We were admitted by a damn machine that doesn’t bother to ask for details of her condition. I was only able to log in fever as a symptom and not the fact that it’s been with her for SEVEN days. So that was VERY impersonal. When we were brought in we were shoved in a tiny hallway with a bed and NO blankets no pillows NO ANYTHING. (As I write this I’m sitting on the edge of the bed because I have no where to sit without being in the way) I had to wait at least two hours before a nurse came to us and did nothing. ANOTHER hour and the nurse returned to ask what was going on and didn’t seemed the least bit concerned. WE ARE STILL HERE AND HAVE YET TO BE SEEN BY A DOCTOR. No one has bothered to check her temperature and record her fever or take any logs. This is a horrible place and thankfully it’s a decent place compared to other hospitals here. But it’s NO walk in the park. It’s a struggle to come here. ALSO we are RIGHT next to an office FULL of staff just lounging around so yeah there’s that. (in the last week)

My experiences at Memorial have always been good. This is true whether I was admitted to deliver a child, have surgery or was rushed in by ambulance. By and large the staff and facilities have been wonderful. Over the years I have watched the hospital grow from a small local facility to a mega hospital. Somewhat harder to navigate now, but with a multitude of additional services. (2 weeks ago)

Had knee surgery yesterday for a torn meniscus and a stress fracture. The care I received at the hospital was amazing and not because I am an employee. The nurses and staff were beyond busy and were constantly running from one room to another but always with a smile 😊 and would apologize for the delays. They will definitely get a high 5!! I live in Fort Lauderdale and I always drive the extra mile to go to this hospital. It's the best hospital ever. The emergency room service is very fast. I delivered both of my children here and the nurses, doctors and service is excellent. The maternity ward is like a 5 star hotel. The doctors explains everything in terms we understand and they are very considerate. Ive been to this hospital multiple times and every visit never fail; service is wonderful. This will forever be my go to hospital!! (4 months ago)

I had a procedure done here 5 days ago, and from the minute I walked in the door until the minute I was wheeled out, I was met with only kindness and smiles. I encountered several people, the front desk woman, the woman who escorted myself and several other patients to the pre-op room (her name was Irma) and was just the sweetest. The nurse, anesthesiologist, and all of the guys and gals on the surgery team that came to see me before my surgery were just top notch. Post-op care was smooth, my amazing nurse Lois kept checking in on my pain levels and giving me pain meds as the pain fluctuated. I honestly don't have one bad thing to say about my experience. They made a very scary event for me feel not as terrifying. Thank you to everybody at Memorial Regional! (2 weeks ago)
