The radiation department is wonderful. I couldn't ask for better care for my mom. All the staff are compassionate and caring. Always giving us plenty of time to ask questions. (a month ago)

Of course no one actually likes going to the hospital, but it makes it easier when the staff is nice. When I went in for a spinal tap not too long ago, the guys who were doing the procedure were very nice and explained everything they were doing. The only problem I had was the wait time before hand. I was sitting in that bed for nearly 3 hours! (3 months ago)

Never a good time when you have to walk into a hospital. It's very clean with a nice entryway, a good first impression. Help desk was persone was very friendly. We had a nice visit. Update 2-27-18 Mom had a several day stay and we received very professional service and an outstanding staff who tool great care of her. (4 months ago)

My father Bob Sabo has spent 3 different times in this awful place. The first time my mom and I walk in his room to find him sitting in a chair..He was trying to eat and was choking and had coffee all down the front of him. The next time was even worse. They left him lay in bed in his urine. Never made sure he had good and Never water. They discharged him and refused to send him to an extended care. My mother was I'll and couldn't care for. We were told that that was a social issue..well he came home and after laying in bed in his urine,he became septic. Now he got to spend 3 weeks in the hospital (Thank God in Carlinville). Two weeks ago he had triple bypass..I think they are trying to kill him. Again terrible care. No food water a d God forbid you ask for anything. Thankfully he's now at Carlinville hospital. They take great care of him. I think Memorial should come and take some lessons. (a month ago)

I like Memorial Medical Center. What I can't stand is the outsourced ER to a company called Midwest Emergency Department Specialists. Their billing department is dysfunctional and loses track of previously paid claims every time. (a week ago)
