I went here yesterday and the wait was 8 hours but i only waited for 3 hours and everyone there was friendly and helpful. I wish the wait times weren't so long but that's life; people worse off coming in will (and should!) get quicker care before you. I was born here and come here when I need to and it's a great hospital. (2 weeks ago)

I went to the Emergency Room yesterday with my 2 1/2 year old daughter. We had a great experience. The staff was friendly and attentive. She was seen quickly and the staff took great care of her. They made sure to keep us updated on her care plan, and answer any questions we had. We left with a diagnosis and RX, and now she’s on the mend. (a month ago)

If you think you are coming to the emergency to get attended to in a timely manner, then you are probably hallucinating. Time management at this establishment is the worst I have ever experienced in my 37yrs of life, and no effort has been put in to fix this. Just have in mind you will be waiting for hours before you see a doctor or physician. Missdiagnosis is another issue that needs to be addressed. Overall, administration needs complete retraining and may be overhauling where necessary. (2 weeks ago)

Communication her between staff is absolutely deplorable. The right hand had no clue what the left hand is doing. Test results and recommendations of consultant were not communicated in a timely fashion to our doctor so that final tests could be ordered. Stay extended do to lack of communication. Nurse stated she would check orders for food and bring back something for my wife to eat, four hours later no nurse and no food! Went to nursing station to ask for something for her to eat and the reply was that the dinner trays would be there shortly. An hour later she finally gets some food after nothing for last 24 hours. Not impressed with service overall. Despite their signs about Magnate Status and Service excellence they fall short of the mark. (3 weeks ago)

lack of communication between staff and patients. case management? patient relations? we never heard from anyone until we were at a dead end and we had to reach out to them. that is not okay. never thought I would see the day that city hospital is better but they are well ahead, in regards of patient relations and proper communication.
