The care I received during and following my shoulder surgery was fantastic. The surgical staff always kept me informed about what was going to happen. After the surgery, the nurses and staff were always attentive and professional. The surgeon even checked in on me several times. And the room was spotless the entire length of my stay. After my hospital stay, the outpatient rehabilitation group was instrumental in getting my strength and range-of-motion back where it needed to be. They were always positive and always inspirational ... which kept me going. The successful outcome was very much a result of attentive hospital and outpatient staff. (2 weeks ago)

My husband was sent to Medical Center from Emergency care, with clots in lungs. That Dr felt he needed special care and a specialist. The nurses in ER told him he could walk alone to the ICU unit! Gave him directions, he got turned around and was out of breathe when he finally made it to ICU!! The Dr handling his case, with students in tow, told him he was disabled and wouldn't be able to work again. He was talking about having a social worker come speak with my husband. When my husband asked what he based this on... the Dr could not answer his questions. When my husband finally got upset enough, he found out what was really going on. This "Doctor" has no idea what he's doing!!! "This is a learning hospital" was excuse used for poor care from the doctors. Come to find out they didn't even look at his chest xrays because they couldn't get the file open!!! So, they couldn't tell if the masses there were even clots or their size! They had no idea what his lungs looked like! But were ready to label my husband disabled who felt nothing like disabled and isn't disabled! Any other place is a better choice!! (2 weeks ago)

The emergency room was horrible. Filthy place, horrible service, and rooms are terribly small. I went in for upper right side abdominal pain, vomiting, and all the signs of gallbladder issues. They told me I had a “virus”, did not explain what virus or how to treat it, and sent me home with pain medication. This was after an ultrasound that was not very good quality and a tech that was absolutely stupid and had no idea how to do her job, a nurse that abandoned me and left me for hours in pain, and she took blood but left every bit of it on the table next to me. My blood was never tested for anything and was thrown away when I was leaving. I went home to Oklahoma and went to the ER in okc and was told my gallbladder needed to be removed. I am having surgery tomorrow and this could have been taken care of days ago if I had better care at Odessa medical center. Don’t waste your time. (2 months ago)

Everything from the facilities to the staff was top notch. The restaurant provides delicious, healthy meals at a reasonable price. I am very thankful that my mother was given the absolute best care. (2 months ago)

JULY 1, 2018 I went to the ER with a painful rash on my arm. Only had about 6 spots. DR. PEDRO TORRES (dumbass) said I had dermatitis and a torn ligament. Yesterday, July 3 my whole arm is covered in blisters. Come to find out, through another ER, that I have SHINGLES. what kind of doctor doesnt know how to properly diagnose a patient???? (a week ago)
