I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for one nurse that was terrible and honestly, the outdoor appearance of this hospital isn't the best; the remodel construction is taking forever to complete! HOWEVER, my husband and I chose this hospital to bring our baby into this world. Our overall experience was wonderful! We were told from a friend that you have the same nurse throughout your stay - not true, BUT, the majority of the staff are kind, patient, funny, loving and overall amazing. Debby, the head nurse truly cares about her staff and patients and did a great job with us as well. The food was pretty good, for a hospital too. I was shocked at how quiet it was which was great and all the hospital staff explained their roles, what they were doing, asked if we had any questions and over all fantastic. When my husband and I choose to have our next little one, were definitely going here. (2 months ago)

This is for all the Graveyard ER employees... It was 2:30 am, my husband’s blood pressure was 220 over 110 (scary) and we were to fly to Hawaii in 3 hours from Eugene Airport. Of course we were concerned so we raced to McKenzie Willamette ER. He was admitted in minutes, necessary tests were done, a doctor did a thorough exam, medication was prescribed, the pharmacy filled a prescription, Admin rushed his released and we made our flight with 10 minutes to spare! We want to thank every employee on that early AM shift on May 14 for their exceptional care and professionalism! If not for them we would have missed our flight and the vacation we had planned for over a year! Thank you McKenzie Willamette ER! You’re awesome!!! Jim and Pat Ginger (a week ago)

For anyone thinking about having a baby here, don’t. If anything goes wrong, the delivery support staff panic. They lack the knowledge and skills to properly resuscitate a baby. They are not open and willing to learn the current recommended evidence based practice. Because of this, multiple normal healthy babies HAVE ACTUALLY DIED or incurred life long medical issues because of unnecessary trauma inflicted by an incompetent staff. MY GRANDSON IS DEAD. The sole reason is because the only option for delivery was McWillies due to insurance coverage. He would have been better taken care of being born in the street. (in the last week)

First-hand experience working at this hospital as a pharmacy tech years ago. All I can say is they should be ashamed of themselves. They are quick to clean up moldy and rotten ceiling tiles in the pharmacy and do damage control only when they are expecting inspection. The pharmacy director was extremely sleazy and put the blame on other people without taking responsibility for anything. I wouldn't risk going to this hospital for a band-aid. (a week ago)

Awesome. Obviously it's never fun being at these places... but try a stint or two at the RiverBend ER, and you'll be singing this place's praises too. Just a bunch of decent, competent people who don't hate their jobs. Amazing, right? (a month ago)
