Best hospital in Hampton Roads, hands down. My grandfather is in the ICU with a ventilator, which is very scary for the family. The doctors have been with us from day 1. Also, I was born here so I've basically known the hospital from the beginning of my life. Thank you Mary Immaculate! The family will continue to use you for our emergency and other healthcare needs. The E.R. staff made my 5 year old daughter feel very secure. They were extremely nice and caring. She loved her doctor and nurse team. (a month ago)

I am sitting here for the second time this week where one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. I've been to Riverside and Sentara numerous times since Jan. I waste more time at this facility for nothing and staff argues that I received wrong instructions. Sadly I am having a procedure with a surgeon here but I will not come here again. There are facilities all over the peninsula to choose. I laugh when I see the awards they've won. Obviously resting on their laurels. (in the last week)

My wife was in an incredible amount of pain and was sent to the hospital by her doctor needing emediate attention. We are now sitting here going on 5 hours and yet to see her given anything for pain or get x-rays. There are very few patients and all the nurses/doctors are all outside chatting an laughing it up. Even heard the nurses/doctors argueing with each other who gets the loud patient next to us. Completely unprofessional. This has got to be the worst hospital experience ever...... Now I'm editing my review to let you know that it's now going on 6 hours and nothing except for an IV has been put in. No medicine and the nurses are still being very loud an unprofessional. I intend on going to there boss an make sure they know what kinda bullsh1t is going on here. Bottom line, go anywhere but here. (2 weeks ago)

The wait time is ridiculous! Not to mention I came here because I believe I have the flu. They ran out of flu test. So I’m just sitting here as I type this , still waiting ... and waiting . The room I’m in is DIRTY. I don’t even want to sit in the chairs . I feel like this is what a prison cell looks and feel like. There aren’t any tissue in the rooms. Good thing I bought my own tissue. Last time I came here in Sept 2017 they were pretty fast . I don’t have a clue what happened. THe staff is friendly, that’s the only good thing I can say...... NEGATIVE 3 stars !! (3 months ago)
