I was looking at the reviews and was a little Leary about going to this hospital, but I had nothing to worry about. The hospital was neat and the staff was amazing. I was in and out in no time, and the staff was very attentive and caring. Can't ask for too much more than that! Thank you Madison hospital staff! You were awesome! (4 months ago)

My grandmother has been hospitalized here twice this year, and I can’t say enough good things about Madison Hospital. The facility is nice, clean, plenty of parking, easy to navigate. Every nurse, tech, and doctor (both in ER and on the 4th floor) were excellent(even the lady who brought her meals), and treated her with knowledge, dignity and kindness. They followed through on every aspect of her care and addressed all concerns. She had no complaints about her care, nor did I. Her rn today, Jessica, and crnp, John, went above and beyond with her discharge. In the ER, Dr. Harris and Jan RN were amazing...best experience in an ER ever. And I’ve got to commend Lauren, RN as well...took excellent care of my grandma over the weekend. Such sweet and caring staff here! (3 weeks ago)

Worst staff ever. My husband broke his hip and was sent there via ambulance. The woman at the registration counter was the rudest, most miserable employee. It was evident that the other nurses were embarrassed by her behavior. Dark haired woman that clearly hates her job and herself. The floors were filthy. Caps, paper, and trash littered our room. The bathroom was out of soap. I find it ironic that most of the bad reviews on here coincide and then, they are responded to with an artificial bandaid by hopes of a "director" addressing the issue. Get real. I personally don't care for a computerized, generated, artificial fix. You guys need to buckle down on your facility, fire the nasty woman at the front desk, and retrain staff with higher expectations of cleanliness and friendliness. Bottom line, this hospital will either close soon, or be shut down for violations. (2 months ago)

I spent a few hours in the ER last night due to kidney pain. The only good part about my experience was my RN, Derek. The floors looked disgusting and caked with buildup.. the restroom in the ER was completely nasty. Paper towels all over the floor, the trash can was overflowing onto the floor. This didn’t change the entire 6 hours I was there. Got sent for CT and X-ray. The doctor never came back and explained to me the results. Next thing I know someone comes in and says I’m being discharged. I was confused as to why I saw the doctor for 20 seconds my entire stay there. I gave a urine sample shortly after arriving, when I was discharged. It was still sitting in my room. I’ll be going to Crestwood from now on. (2 months ago)

Have been there several times...always seen quickly, very professional, very polite and caring. Nurses and doctors are great! (2 months ago)
