Keep in mind that there are two buildings for this hospital. The newer building, which is gorgeous by the way, opened December of 2017. Most of the patients have moved there. The new building is still 725 Welch Road but is called the "Main" building. The older building is now called the "West" building. Though it says open 24 hrs, the visiting policy states that visiting hours are from 8 am until 9pm. The exception is emergencies and Labor and delivery. There is no emergency services for they are at the Stanford Health Care facility. Also, there is no urgent care. There is an after hours clinic by appointment only. This is one of the best Children's hospitals in the Bay Area. The staff here is caring and competent. This is a very special place. (3 weeks ago)

Compared to other hospitals we have been to, this place is very nice. Very clean, and always accommodating. Only having one patient per room is great. Kids get a giant 50in TV and parents get a smaller 32in or so TV WITH HDMI! (a week ago)

This place is designed from the ground up to make kids feel better. Healthier, but also happier and more comfortable. It's great. (3 weeks ago)

Wonderful staff and facilities. The folks here helped with my infant daughter during some rare genetic testing which was very stressful for our family. Everyone was very kind and comforting. (a month ago)

Awesome facilities, wonderful staff. Here for the birth on my son and the nurses here are just unbelievable. The attention to detail and the care that these professionals give can't be matched. Probably going to have another kid just to come back to this hospital (4 months ago)
