Watch out, this place is shady. They contract providers to come in from other hospitals in Northern New Mexico, who may or MAY NOT be in your network. They don't tell you they're not in your network, you just get a $1000 bill months later, and by the way, that money does not count towards your out of pocket max or deductible since it is out of network. And the hospital up here knows it and does not care because they are the only hospital in town, because where else are you going to go. Absolute garbage, the only way to protect yourself from this is to make sure every doctor, nurse, nurse practitioner, hell even the janitor cleaning your room, is in your network, and be prepared to wait if they're not. There is nothing the insurance company can do, and the hospital does not extend in-network status to contracted providers. Absolutely absurd, I wonder if the hospitals in Santa Fe are any good, or at least honest. (a week ago)

Fantastic nursing staff, one doctor however, Dr Salim Amrani, was incredibly rude, horrible bedside manner, rude to my family and his own nursing staff, didn't seem to care about the welfare of my family member. Will not use or recommend LAMC until they figure out what they are doing. (3 months ago)

LAMC care was outstanding and they had a difficult case to work with - a 98 year old who had fallen. The care was great and the 98 year old is recovering very well thanks to the exemplary ICU. (5 months ago)

My child was born here. I have been stitched up numerous times here. The staff has always been helpful. Thankfully, it has been a few years since I have needed their emergency (or other) services. (7 months ago)

Mind boggling prices for routine tests. I was told three common blood-draw labs would cost almost $400. It's a shame—they're co-located with Medical Associates of Northern New Mexico, which I've had great experiences with, but LAMC is so hugely overpriced that I don't even use them anymore. I'd strongly recommend Tri Core, on Canyon Rd, for faster services and much better prices. (7 months ago)
