My father is 86. He was discharged from ER for chest to NO ONE with an IV port still in his left arm!! He is on blood thinners!!!! Unacceptable! I’m watching you like a hawk from now on!!! Maybe even a new hospital! Yes, I think so. (a month ago)

Second time my wife had surgery at the hospital. The nurses are the best!!!! Always making sure if my wife needed anything. Even asking us if we needed anything. Nurse Jerry from surgery was making sure my wife was comfortable. Asking me if I needed anything. Keep me up to date how my wife was doing during surgery. Los Alamitos Hospital is 100% way better than Lakewood Regional Hospital. GREAT JOB LOS ALAMITOS HOSPITAL!!!!! (3 months ago)

Have your baby here! They have a tiny maternity ward which is nice, it feels intimate and private. The nurses were all wonderful, very warm and caring. The rest of the staff seemed so happy all the time. Getting to maternity is kind of tricky though, it's like a maze downstairs! (3 months ago)

Horrible hospital! My 83 yr old mother had fallen in your assisted living facility and was taken to their ER for neck pain. She arrived there about 1:30 am. When I called the ER at 7:30 am to check on her status, the male receptionist there was very quick to reply that no one by that name arrived in the ER or was at the hospital. I asked him to check again because she was brought there by ambulance. He then rudely said she was admitted, provided me with her room number and transferred my call without an apology. When I was transferred to the nurse, she would not provide me with any information about my mom's status. All I wanted to know if she was okay/stable. She said they were on a shift change, and to come down there for information. My experiences with Chicago Med Center and Long Beach Memorial were complete opposite of that of LAMC. The staff there were great to deal with. (4 months ago)

Terrible hospital! My sister took her boyfriend for stomach pain and was never diagnosed ran a bunch of tests and figured nothing out and he was discharged anyway. Still feeling as crappy as he went in (a week ago)
