This hospital has been horrible for decades. They will keep your loved one in their system until they die or squeeze every dollar out of them the govt will pay - usually both. Same owners as Hollywood Hills nursing home who killed over a dozen elderly people during Hurricane Irma. Owner should be in prison. (in the last week)

Outpatient Radiology: This is one of those places where if you have to be there, do your best to get in and out. The intake personnel were fine, but this department needs to re-set their understanding of customer service. Laying on a cold slab in a hospital gown with the a/c cranked while you're getting an x-ray done is probably not a top activity for most. Having to listen to the older tech describing his romantic endeavors for the evening to another hospital employee (who incidentally is not doing anything related to your procedure)--while he doesn't clue you in on if he's done with the x-ray...that's a 'no' for me. That happened on two occasions. This may not show up on everyone's radar, but it should: When they sign you in after giving all your particulars, there will be the equivalent of a small book in pages of stickers with all your personal info, most of which will not be used--referring to outpatient care. You may want to ask for the pile of unused ones, as who knows how well that information is disposed of. For those who haven't yet experienced identity theft, you may feel that is not necessary; do what feels comfortable to you. If you have good insurance coverage, you'll be fine. If you are paying cash, open your eyes and ask questions BEFORE you get anything done, but that's true anywhere. (6 months ago)

My experience with Larkin Hospital and their staff has been incredibly Helpful, Larkin has taken people needing help when so many other facilities have not or won't.. If I bring something to them that the community is doing, they never hesitate to offer their support!! Thank you Larkin (9 months ago)

If I could give less than one star I would. The receptionist was exceptionally rude and judgmental to my friend and I. I went to support her in getting admitted to the adolescent psych ward and after asking the receptionist for direction she began asking intrusive questions. She was extremely rude and did not believe my friend when she stated her age. After saying that she could see her ID she began to roll he eyes at us and use a condescending tone. My friend and I were sick and tired of her dismissive attitude and decided we should leave. We will NEVER be returning here again and will NOT recommend ANYONE attends such a disrespectful facility. The nurse that was getting me ready for surgery was so Cuban, make stupid jokes the more I reply to him in English he kept answering back in Spanish!!! He was making fun of a young man for making a mistake!!! Hospital great but the staff suck!!!! Please teach your staff some English and to be respectfull ... (9 months ago)
