Location and Directions

Had a minor issue so i visited the ER (Lakewood Regional). I must say I packed a lunch but did not need it. Service moved pretty smoothly considering it was an ER. Ms. Nadea (RN), Ms. Lauren (RN), and Ms. Candice (MD/NP) were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and skilled. I would be remiss if didn't mention helpful and kind as well. Hope I don't need their services anytime soon, but it's good to know the medical industry is in capable hands. (a month ago)

Nursing staff are plain and simple INCOMPETENT. Plus I got a response from The Administrator staff saying SORRY.. I wasn’t asking for a Favor, I needed Medical Attention, we called yesterday morning around 7:30 am for Information and all we got was attitude From the lady who took the call. I understand you guys deal with a lot but I wasn’t rude or anything I contacted them because I was referred there from my Insurer Health Net. As of today, am sending my Insurer carrier a letter about the way you treat patients. (a month ago)

Took my husband to this awful hospital with severe abdominal pain, he couldnt even walk, and he is diabetic. I asked the receptionist for a wheel chair, 15 minutes nothing and my husband was already arguing with me coz he was in pain. Keep in mind he USA type 2 diabetic... so my husband just walked in. I was already upset... then the receptionist thought that my husband went in the triage without getting registered... what does she think I am... stupid!! So we wait... my husband was complaining that he couldn’t breathe, and no one reacted with quick response... my husband’s eyes was almost rolling already and nothing. Then one nurse came and pretended that she cared... The service in this hospital is far the worse I have been in. The patient may be dying already and they don’t even care. It does not seem to treat their patients based on how serous their condition is. An EKG and blood was taken , we have been here since 230pm, it’s already 7:22 pm... and no dr have seen him or the no results from the blood work or EKG. I should have taken him to Memorial so they can better take care of his condition! NEVER AGAIN!!! (in the last week)

Horrible communication. They can’t keep track of people. Good luck trying to talk to a doctor. Transfer people without calling the family. Don’t go there. (a month ago)

If you care about your loved one, dont bring them to this ER. Go to Downey ER. It seems packed at Downey but you'll get a bed faster. Lakewood's ER is empty because word has already gotten around that its horrible. So horrible in fact they have an outsourced staff that responds to reviews at 9pm with CANNED responses. See they hope is that people will see them responding to their negative reviews and get the impression that they care. They don't. Dont be fooled. (in the last week)
