Thought my Husband was having another stroke. The nurse put the IV in the artery in his arm. Glad another nurse noticed. He is on blood thinners. His arm was so badly bruised and swollen for weeks from right above his wrist to right below his shoulder. Still has swelling where she put it in. He made me promise to never take him back there again. A promise I will keep. (a month ago)

This hospital seems to me to be a good caring and helpful place. The emergency department is very good. They really know what they are doing. You can have walk in surgery and leave the same day. I spent most of my day yesterday at Lake Norman Regional. I had a procedure to help break up and hopefully help me to pass smaller pieces of kidney stones. The people that I can remember coming in contact with were very happy, nice, and helpful to me. My comfort was important to me and them. I remember being in a room that was a pre procedure room. I remember being there and being taken to the area that would do the procedure. I remember meeting the Nurse and Doctor that would do the procedure. I remember leaving the procedure room and going back to the room I was in at the beginning. I felt nothing and remember anything else about the procedure to reduce the size of my kidney stones. I can and will totally recommend this procedure as well as the hospital. Thank you goes out to everyone that I came into contact with. (2 months ago)

For a hospital, I can't complain. The staff I have delt with were helpful and assuring. It's never fun to go to the Hospital, so I didn't let the low reviews prevent me from getting help. If you're having problems, give this place a chance to help. (a month ago)

Billing is terrible. They offered us a discounted price if we paid prior to to surgery which we did. I received a bill after surgery for the discounted amount. Billing said it was their error and it would be fixed. Today I get a call from a collection company and I never received ANY warning about it. I would NOT recommend and if I could I would give them ZERO stars. (3 months ago)

Absolute worst experience. Let’s start with the hyperdermic needle that was laying in he floor of my emergency room. At least it had a cap on it so no one could step on it and stab themselves. Now the the medical part. I went in with what I thought was a miscarriage because I had assumed I was pregnant due to false positive pregnancy test caused by my muscle relaxer. I went back and had an ultrasound down where I was told “I can’t tell you anything because I’m not a doctor” reasonable and makes sense. As I was being wheeled back up to my er room she stops to grab me a warm blanket in front of the nurses station where my doctor was. And my doctor asked her “did you see anything” to which she replied “no” right in front of me. And then I had to go sit in my room, heart broken because I thought I had just miscarried a baby I really wanted, while waiting 2 hours for the doctor to finally come tell me something that they talked about right in front of me. By the way he was the rudest doctor ever and spoke to me like I was a child. And then they discharged me knowing I had a dangerously high blood pressure which is uncommon for me. I will avoid this place like the Black Plague. (2 months ago)
