DR. Michael Cher has no compassion! My wife who recently had kidney cancer and had to have part of her kidney removed a year ago. She was recommend to come here for a follow up. When she arrived everyone greeted her with open arms, front desk staff was great, nurse was helpful but then Dr. I DONT CARE walked in. After a few questions, he made my wife very upset because he acted as if he didn't care or understand why she was there. I've heard great things about this place but this Doctor needs to have some classes on how to treat a person! (3 months ago)

RUN. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. My family member received medical and surgical care here..9th floor karmanos.. if they live through this it'll be a miracle. Intraoperative infection, misdiagnosis, failure to perform necessary lab work, nursing staff and resident doctors who do not wash their hands or wear gloves, nursing assistant emptied my family members wound drain then went straight to emptying his urinary catheter without washing hands or wearing gloves... all right in front of me. Wait hours for pain medication, no thought of nutrition or healing requirements, resident doctors undereducated and lack common sense universal precaution knowledge (or simply fail to implement), another patients stomach contents still in the suction machine that was in my family members room above the hear of his bed (to which the nurse said oh I'm so sorry that's disgusting.. after I told her to come see this), resident doctors and nurses leave old drainage bandages on over the bed table and bedside stand....i could go on and on.....please.. please... don't even consider this hospital . I hope this post saves someone the distress this institution has caused me and my family. (a month ago)

Best cancer center in the area. Best BMT center you can go too. (a month ago)

Dr Shelly Seward and Dr Steven Miller are the best! They really helped me get through my situation and encouraged me all the way through. (5 months ago)

The service was fast and the nurses staff and radiologist were very courteous. (5 months ago)
