My grandfather was at this hospital after being at their rehabilitation center. First of all the rehab doctors were terrible. They were assigning him tons on medicines we specifically asked them not to put him on and when we told them to take him off of them they argued with us and be did not take him off. Then the staff left my grandfather unresponsive for atleast 6 hours if not more. It was not until my Aunt got there that the doctor finally moved him to the ER. While in the waiting room of the ER there was a homeless man panhandling for money in the waiting room. He then continued to walk outside and smoke a cigarette while the staff was calling his name and then the staff snapped at him and was very rude to him while telling him rob get himself into the hospital. Once my father was back in a room the doctor told us that there was a very small chance of him living even if we put a vent on. They said that it was about a 1/5 chance of reversing what had happened, which we later found out was a second stroke caused by the medicine he wasn’t on. We still put him on the ventilator and after a week he was off the ventilator and breathing on his own. The doctors then quickly wanted to kick him out. The first day of him being in the ER they took an x-ray. They found a small spot on his lung and told us it was nothing to be worried about and after about a week sent him to rehab. With in the first day of being in rehab that nurses found his unresponsive and quickly sent him to another hospital. This hospital told us that Johns Hopkins Bayview should not have released him without treating his spot because that small spot turned into pneumonia very easily in an 89 year old man. My grandfather almost died because their care failed us and I would not recommend this hospital (4 weeks ago)

As an overnight stayer. I was given three delicious meals per day, really recommend the Grilled Salmon. They provide soap, socks, and etc. You only have a limited # of channels, but it’s enough to keep you entertained. The nurses were humble, intelligent, and nice. Overall, a recommendable stay. They helped me transfer into Johns Hopkins Hospital: a recommendable hospital, too. (3 months ago)

Horrible exp did not even do the procedure they were supposed to do!! 3 1\2 hrs under they didn't even give my mother an update she was very worried as well as my father... They left the tube in my mouth I almost pulled it out until someone stopped me The recovery area was the worst they never offered me anything to drink or any crackers!!! They threw my clothes at me told me to get dressed I almost fell off the bed I was so dizzy!!! The nurse didn't even help me to the car I almost fell outside!!!! Then I get home and find that they left them sticky things on my body where they monitor your heart with!!! Is this how you treat your patients???? Absolutely uncalled for!!!! I will never ever go back there for another procedure no thank you I am thoroughly disgusted with the treatment I received from this hospital and the staff truly sad that they would treat their patients like this.... My husband was brought in by ambulance with a possible head injury. Was seen in triage given an ice pack and sent to the waiting room. 2 hours later was told there could be up to an 8 hour wait. Desk help and head nurse were the rudest people. Do not waste your time at this facility. (a month ago)

Too bad you cant leave zero stars. My mother recently had surgery here. Not only did they mess up a routine procedure resulting in her having to get a second surgery but her care was awful. The surgical unit rooms were dirty, the nurses inattentive (she had to empty her own catheter bag because it was overflowing!), her medication recorded was wrong (she asked several times to have it corrected and it still was not corrected- they offered her old meds she had not been on for years), meal trays were left for long periods of time until the next meal was delivered..... and these are just some of the issues.
