Had a outpatient procedure scheduled for this hospital and when I asked for cost they said they would bill my insurance $8,300 for the facility services, This did not include the surgeon's fee. I cancelled my surgery due to cost so I could get competitive prices. It is no wonder Insurance is so high when these medical facilities continue to gouge the Insurance companies with outrageous cost. (2 months ago)

My grandmother recently had surgery there, and the staff were beyond incredible. They took the time to explain every thing to her, often repeating themselves. They made sure my grandmother understood everything that was happening to her--from the procedure to giving her medications. Everyone was friendly, and she said she didn't go 15 minutes without someone popping their head in. She felt so cared for and that definitely helped with what was a scary operation to her. They made her so calm and happy. Very happy with our experience here. (3 months ago)

Had a perforated appendix. Spent 7 hours waiting for an ambulance to take me to Louisville Jewish Hospital because their doctor was "On spring break". Got yelled at by the nurse for having such high blood pressure... EXCUSE ME?!?! MY APPENDIX IS ABOUT TO EXPLODE!! Been told by a few people in town since then, that they wouldn't bring a dead dog to this hospital as they would manage to kill it a second time... I'll take my chances with the longer ride to ANY OTHER HOSPITAL going forward! (2 months ago)
