This was the slowest visit we've ever had for poison ivy break out. 5 people that came in after us was called back. 2 had colds (was overheard them describing their symptoms). The other 3 couldn't have been serious considering they walked in n walked back. Its like we're overlooked. Just need a shot for my poison ivy n on we'd be on our way. Already been waiting 2 hours n stillhavent been called back..... This place sucks (in the last week)

Everyone knows that this hospital needs major improvement. I was hoping that it got better, but from what I have heard from family members it's still as bad as I remember. This is the only hospital where I have had an asthma attack bad enough that i couldn't talk. I wrote that I was having an asthma attack on a piece of paper and showed it to the nurse. She didn't care. She handed me a clipboard and told me to have a seat. I could barely walk but made it back to a room when I was called. The nurses decided to assist an elderly woman who claimed she was having trouble breathing but made jokes to me the entire walk back to our rooms. I thought i was going to stop breathing and began crying. The nurse only helped me after my husband had to loose his temper to get some help. About a hour later my lungs started closing again. I pressed the button to request a nurse multiple times and no one responded. Once again my husband had to scream at the nurses to help me. They came running in the room and by this time I was foaming from the mouth, and my heart rate was dropping. I was then moved to ICU. I spent a couple days there and they still didn't know how to keep my lungs open. I informed the HORRIBLE doctor that I didn't feel that I should be discharged bc i couldn't make it to work if i couldn't breath. She said "well I can't keep you here just because you don't want to go to work". Like I was just some lazy bum trying to get out of work after that almost let me die. WORST HOSPITAL EVER! (3 weeks ago)

I was at Jewish Hospital ER yesterday. My nurse, William Kock (Bill) was phenomenal- probably the best nurse I've ever had! He was very attentive, very caring, and spent time talking with me, which helped to slightly take my mind off the pain I was in. He went above and beyond! (a month ago)

I had out patient surgery and they were awsome. The staff was so caring & even though I was nervous they reassured me. They took great care of me as I struggled to come out of the anesthesia & kept my loved ones informed.. the waiting rooms were clean & comfortable. (3 months ago)

I went to Jewish in kenwood It took them 4 hours before I can get comfortable. I wouldnt take my dog to that hell hole. Now 4 weeks later im still in pain my shoulder is still broke an i cant get ahold of the Useless Dr that dont know what hes talking about to get my follow up.. I have a major AC separation an was told it was out of socket.. (in the last week)
