My first experience was awesome I enjoyed every bit of it. They made me feel very safe I wish I could rewind time to do it all over again.... (2 weeks ago)

For years I have heard of residents of Pine Bluff traveling to other cities to go to the hospital and I thought it was nonsense until I took my mother to see her dying sister. Because it was after 9pm we entered through the emergency room and signed in at the desk. There were two officers and a nurse on duty. My mother, who could barely walk needed a wheelchair to get to the third floor to see her sister one last time. From her appearance, they thought she was checking herself into the hospital. We were told by one of the officers that we couldn't used their chair because they only had one and if someone came in 'shot up and dying' they would need the chair. Why would you need the chair for a dying patient? Not a stretcher and a couple of doctors? I offered to bring chair back as soon as I got her there. They still refused and then when the second chair came the officer stated that they needed that chair too. I guess now we're waiting on two shot up patients clinging to life to come through the door in need of a wheelchair. Then I had to ask the nurse where I could find another wheelchair because they all stood there with this vacuous expression on their faces. It's heartbreaking to leave this review because I was born and raised here and this city has and still does get criticized harshly. However, after all the places I have traveled this is the only hospital that doesn't seem to know where a wheelchair is located and doesn't seem to care about the poor service they are delivering. I too am in the medical field and I have friends and relatives in law enforcement so I know for a fact that this is not how we were taught to serve our community. (a month ago)

Sat in room for2 hours. Major back pain due to bad disc. Couldn’t not get out of bed this morning. That’s how bad it was. Received a Torodal shot and a steroid shot for $250 dollars. Take my advice go to LR or to a MedExpress. Service sucks!!!! (in the last week)

Let me tell you about this hospital as a Pine Bluff resident. This is the WORST possible place to go for elderly patients who need help. My grandmother was nearly killed here because they didn't know what they were doing, six months with a perforated bowel, six months and no eating and her body was starving itself, two weeks up at UAMS she healed. At this very moment I sit in this hospital, the staff has some of the worst bedside manners. My step-grandpa was given a clean bill of health to leave the hospital and go to a rehab facility. TWO HOURS THERE and he's coughing up blood with his oxygen dipping below 50. This hospital wants nothing more than to drive up bills, and usher people out to get more space. They DO NOT help people. The emergency room is always filthy and the staff up front have no concern or care for the suffering of others and are more than happy to have little staff parties with the most shrill laughter and loudest voices they can. Unless you're truly on the brink of death, I recommend you seeking help else where. Furthermore, any positive review on here? I bet sweet, sweet money that they're either an employee, ex-employee, or a relative to someone working here trying to save what little reputation they have. Pathetic place with pathetic staff. Well my sister is currently a patient here. We had some issues with her doctor but thanks to Guest Relations (Verlne) was very nice and accomodating. She answered all of our questions about what was going on with my sister. As for her doctor very disappointing (9 months ago)
