I went to the Tanner Urgent Care right off Highway 27 in Bremen after cutting my finger with a grinding wheel at home. They were extremely nice and helpful and said i needed stitches, but it being a urgent care and me not having insurance, id have to pay up front. So they recommended i just go to the Tanner Hospital ER since i had no insurance and they would take care of me. I go to the ER and the wait wasn't very long, but i get to the back only to hear the doctor say i don't need stitches? Keep in my mind i was literally in the back of the Tanner Urgent Care(sitting in a patients room) about to get stitches and they let me leave at NO CHARGE. Im confused saying the Tanner Urgent Care sent me here and said id need them. Instead I'm met with some gauze and some bandaids. I then realized I'm going to be charged some outrageous amount for $10 worth of medical supplies. Then a billing consultant from the hospital comes in saying if i paid $180 today then i would be good since I'm paying it up front. I was still upset, but figured id rather pay the $180 then the $1000 they would normally charge. Fast forward 2 months later and i receive one bill for $768 from the Tanner ER and another bill for $183. Neither bill has an itemization of what I'm being charged for? WHAT A MISLEADING, TERRIBLE WAY TO TREAT PEOPLE IN THEIR MOST VULNERABLE OF TIMES. I would recommend someone take a chance on dying and drive over to Floyd hospital over going to Tanner and getting took advantage of. SO FYI, DO NOT PAY THAT BILLING CONSULTANT! They will lie to your face just to get money out of you. (2 months ago)

Got here at 6 am, just got tested for the flu. Nurse said “it will be 15 mins before we have results”. 2 & 1/2 hours later they tell me it was positive. Spent half of the shift with the staff. Totally what I wanted to do today. Also would like to add that I went out to smoke during my frustration and this place wasn’t really that busy either (5 months ago)

Well we are currently sitting here waiting on someone to check where my Mother has signed in and watching and listening to the people at the front desk banging and being obnoxiously loud...mean while my Mother is in pain and no one appears to be concerned. Normally this hospital is amazing, but as of this moment believe me if my Mom is ever in need of medical services I will drive her somewhere that cares about their patients. (7 months ago)

Rude and while they sat and laughter about other patients, I was puking blood. Horrible place (5 months ago)

I recently had my second MRI in two years. My first experience with them was excellent, from the front desk to the MRI. I'm not easily impressed with medical facilities because of past experiences but they made my first experience so easy that I came from Douglasville Ga to Bremen to have a MRI. I wasn't disappointed. I would like to give a shout out to everyone who helped me on my last visit. Front desk: Tracy. Registration A??. X-RAY window: Jen. MRI: Terri. Special thanks to Terri for helping me to relax and get comfortable. I can't speak for the rest of the hospital but this group is amazing. Thank you and see you for all future tests. (a year ago)
