Came into emergency with kidney stones very helpful doctor. No wait at all, helped the pain and i went to specialist in Duluth MN next morning. I felt the staff was very caring and very knowledgeable. Thanks to everyone (a month ago)

If you want to be treated by incompetent, lazy staff who won’t even bother to look at your file and definitely don’t care about your well being this is the hospital for you. (3 weeks ago)

Staff and Dr.s are AWESOME... I have always been treated very well ! (a month ago)

One word can sum up this place... INCOMPETENT 1. not having or showing the necessary skills to do something successfully. After they created a outstanding bill for only a few standard checkup visits, I hand-delivered my health insurance information. A month or so went by and I would still not only get bills in the mail (unchanged) but phone calls and then voice mails. Even though after displaying & providing all the necessary paper work for my health insurance coverage. (8 months ago)

Hayward Memorial Hospital charged me about $10,000 for use of their facility for my outpatient cataract surgery of one eye with local anesthesia. The bill had about 30- 40 "Miscellaneous Charges"!!! I asked them several times to itemize what those "Miscellaneous" charges were and they NEVER provided me with such. In addition, two months later, the hospital sent me another bill which repeated the charges but it ALSO added an additional $288 in "Miscellaneous" charges to boot!!! This is Price Gouging at its best!!! Totally outrageous!!! The opthalmologist charged around $3,000 for his actual procedure which is about right. So total was $13,000+ for uncomplicated cataract surgery of one eye. (a year ago)
