Surgery on feb 22. Dr Ruthe was great. I had a student nurse,Mary, who put my iv in. She did a great job. Michelle gave her some good pointers while she was doing tbe iv. Everyone I came in contact with was courteous and extremely nice. Also I am doing great. THANKS! (4 months ago)

Had a brother here who needed lots of special care. They seem to being the best job possible for him. Update later. Went from 3 stars to one star. I came in from another state to see him. Every chance they had to speak to my wife and I alone. All they brought up was a DNR. We explained his daughter was in charge of all his decision making. Two days later it was done again. One doctor a Neurologist talked about how sick he was and had him own 6 anti sezeuires meds. Brought up the DNR. One doctor who was considerate over his hip surgery was ok, but as soon as he step out the room all the nurses and aids that were n there were to busy fainting and flaunting over how gorgeous he was. Not professional at all. He was inn the CCU and they acted like he was a thorn after 2 days. But the doctor who admitted him followed us to the break room trying toi tell us he needed to go to another place for long term health. We explained we do not have that desicion to make. We just are visiting. He would not shut up. Then he said stuff to me that was very offensive. No bedside manner at all. All this before he told us he was a doctor or the one admitted him. I can't speak for anyone else's care but I was taken to Greenview Hospital because my arm was so stiff and I had a little discomfort in my chest. The ER staff was fast and confused me as to what was going on. I was admitted to the hospital for four days. The Doctors were a little slow as to giving me the results but the nursing staff, housekeeping staff, transportation staff were way beyond excellent. I have reported my experience to the corporate office in Tennessee. Nurse Becca, Nurse Taylor and the others treated me with the utmost respect and kindness. I am sorry that I can't remember the other nurses names and the other staff members names to thank them to the corporate office but you know who you are. I am home now, a little sore from my procedure but very happy to be there because of their care. (8 months ago)

Everyone was appropriately attentive, maintained professionalism while still making you feel at ease. (2 months ago)

It's sad that America is supposed to be the greatest country in the world and the richest. But we have sub par facilities and doctors and nurses who don't care about their patients. If you work in the healthcare field you should have a passion for your job and compassion for all your patients. Well they don't have either here. My son had a really high fever and was shaking, twitching and almost passed out on a few occasions. So I took him here and they acted like I was stupid for bringing him in. Really unprofessional and rude. It's funny they rush when they are tending to you, but take their time getting back to you. We were there 4 hours just to take one quick blood test and a quick x Ray. And they were done in the first hour. So waited 3 hours just for them to discharge us with a antibiotic. Then the pharmacist had to call them back because the prescription they wrote didn't make sense. Wish we had a good hospital here like Vanderbilt. This place is ridiculous (11 months ago)
