Stared out in the ER around mid night. ER are always chaotic and never a good experience. ( not a fan of the ER experience ) Admitted next morning. Nursing staff is exceptional. I can’t say enough good things about them. So pleasant and caring. This is our third time here this year and the nursing staff is consistently outstanding! I keep choosing this hospital because of the nursing staff. Many thanks to them and the care they give my mom. (a month ago)

Terrible experience. Waited 4 hours in the ER to be seen and was seated out in the hallway listening to the doctors and the nurses speaking poorly about patients. The doctors and nurses called the patients fakers and would ridicule them for their aliments. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL UNLESS NECESSARY! (2 weeks ago)

They took care of my husband very thoroughly tested for everything he has had problems with blood clots in his leg in the past. They did a fantastic job and were super personable. (3 weeks ago)

Actually it's his wife Marisa writing this I was there. I would put negative stars if I could. I cannot believe the wait times and inprofessional staff at this Hospital. I am 54 yes old and this was Always my go to hospital. NEVER AGAIN! After waiting hours in the waiting room the first time. Which they did take blood and and a chest Cray while waiting in the waiting room I eventually left. Came back the next day. Waited about 3 hours to be seen only to be placed on a gurny in the er hallway for 10 hours and all I received was another chest Cray. Mind you I'm coughing up blood and have a severe infection on my elbow. I also have Crohn's disease and C.O.P.D. I asked the one nurse if It might be my Crohn's a little while later my nurse asked him (the nurse I asked) "what's wrong with her. He said. She has a Tummy ache" sarcastically!! Then after masochoring my arm for an IV because I said I got a rash a few days after I got a CT scan with dye a while ago. The Dr. Told me I had to have an allergy test 1st which would take 2 hours to come back then get the CT scan then it would take 2 hours for the result. I told them I just want to go. Then he came back and said it will take 4 hours for allergy results then CT scan then 2 hours to read the result. Mind you I was already laying in a hallway for 10 hours!! It was like they wanted me to go. Needless to say I left AMA and am trying another ER today. I am still very sick. Dr Brunetti has terrible bedside mannersp. When my husband was there before he even knew what was wrong with him he told him he had cancer. Which he did not. He had an infection in his Lungs. If you enjoy waiting for hours upon hours and being made fun of and laughed at then by all means go to the CMC Geisinger in Scranton. Unbelievable!!!! Also I do believe the major issue at this Hospital Is in fact the ER department. If you are an out patient or make it upstairs that's a whole different and better experience. I think the only reviews with more than 1 star are not reviewing ER. (a week ago)
