This hospital is full of incompetent, Incapable Flunkies. Apparently the cost of a malpractice suit is less than the time and a half it cost to pay a radiologist because they do not have one on staff at night. I was told there is a person "Somewhere" reading images for all of there hospitals! So myself, my husband, and children waited for 8 hours! and they still never got to his CT. Lets also discuss the fact that they took my husbands blood work. Based on what they saw they wanted to do it again in 4 hours. Yet not one of the doctors, nurses, CPN, LPN or any one could bother to tell us that! Until we started complaining. Just FYI: When you explain things to people they tend to be more understanding and patient. I would have gone home with my children and come back. So thank you NSLIJHS for wasting my time, stealing my money, and ruining my faith in the medical profession! (2 weeks ago)

I rushed my son to the ER and the triage nurse Helen was amazingly wonderful. She was very fast and courteous and made sure my son was well taken care of. Also Dr. Chen was great. Thank you so much (3 months ago)

This has been my worst experience ever and they keep sending more bills months after the one visit. These people did nothing for the knee problem I came in for. They cycled you through to see every Doctor and used every test under the sun just to rack up costs. And in the end sent me home without anything for the original problem except a prescription which I had to go to a pharmacy and hundreds of dollars in bills after they raped my insurance company. I came in with knee pain and they performed tests for breathing, EKG, Ultrasound, tons of x-rays everything except what the problem was. I was about the only one there and they just seem to want to use all of their equipment. After I came home I went to an Orthopedist and the problem was only fluid on the knee. In the end the exit lead to the loading dock not the nice entrance you first came into and hundreds of dollars in bills. Stay far far away from this place. (a month ago)

I was shocked at these reviews, things have changed here. Things moved quickly with geting many test performed. It's amazing how much this hospital has changed. I am leaving here with referrals to 2 doctors and so many unanswered questions about my painful, leg cramps and numbness. Plus my wacko Primary Care Physican was here and says its all stress related, are you kidding me? My wacko Primary Care Dr. Says he is giving me a meds for stress, which I have never taken before, he disappears without telling the ER Dr. to send the scrip. I relay to the ER Dr. Sweeney who says, it's a controlled substance??? Huh, 1st I didn't ask for the meds, I'm relaying what that quack Dr. said to me before he disappeared. I always prided bringing my 3 kids here for care. Now I will have to find a new ER. This will be my final visit. They have lost their minds in this place. Plus it's filthy in here. (a week ago)

Terrible emergency room policies! I fractured the bone under my kneecap. They took an xray. Then told me to see my orthodontist. The intern doctor told me they don't do MRIs and they don't write scripts. WTH! They gave me crutches and a brace. Then pushed me out the door. No painkillers or anti inflammatory med. (a month ago)
