Husband went to emergency room for kidney stone. We received excellent care. He was immediately called back even before finishing paperwork. PA Matt was prompt in ordering test and concluding it was a stone. Nurse Lindsay was very friendly, quick with medications and made us both feel at ease. At Our home town hospital, one can expect to wait 3-4 hours before even seeing a nurse..we were seen, tested, diagnosed and give home insructions in 2 hours. IMPRESSIVE (in the last week)

I was taken by ambulance to ER on the seventh of March the care from start to finish was excellent. Everyone was professional and made me feel I was in very capable hands. Even after I left the hospital and returned home to my primary doctor their medical records department sent records immediately when requested while I was still in doctors office. She even commented how unusual that was to receive so quickly. I can’t say enough how respondent they were to me. Wonderful hospital and great staff! (2 months ago)

I was taken to the ER by ambulance on the 5th of April due to heart problems I was given the best of care throughout my entire hospital stay.i stayed in CCU for 2 days and was treated so good.then moved to a regular room where I had the same treatment. I want to thank the entire 3rd.floor for taken care of me.and let's not forget the ER staff as well. Thank you ALL and God bless you all (a month ago)

My father was admitted to this hospital and had a terrible experience. I don't think this review will make a difference at Flowers, but I hope it will help someone make a choice to go to another hospital. My dad had surgery and almost 48 hours later he still had not been given food. We asked the nurse to see if he could eat and it turns out he had been cleared to be on a liquid diet 24 hours after surgery. Nurses are very apathetic -- we did have a couple good nurses so there are some out there -- but most couldn't care less. They did not empty his drain when it was full and we had to call multiple times to get help. We asked the nurse if he could take a shower and she said she would be right back to get him ready.... an hour later she had not shown up and the head nurse came in. She told one of the other nurses to help us get him disconnected and taped up for a shower but she never showed up. His IV drip alarm went off that there was an air bubble in the tube. The nurse came in, barely looked at it, blamed the machine for acting up and walked away. It went off again... and we found the air bubble. This is a serious issue and she acted like it was no big deal. There is a serious lack of compassion at this hospital and it is a damn shame. Their care was once the best in Dothan but I am sad to say that is not the case anymore. I would highly advise you to take your loved ones to another hospital if you want them to receive adequate care. I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am in the lack of care at this facility. My son fell off a bunk bed and busted his chin wide open. Waited in er room for 4 hours. Then we finally get back to get him stitches wait again for an hour and it seems like they sent a trainee because my son's stitches were atrocious. He looked like Frankenstein and his regular doctor had to redo them days later. Thanks for nothing flowers! If you cant do something as simple as stitches i will never trust you with anything.
