First off I had to share a room with other patients when I was already uncomfortable with sharing what was going on with a doctor now I had to share it with my roomies. Not only did we have just one set of people in the room with me but once they left they brought more people in. Instead of the doctor having me up on a table to lie me back and properly check my abdomen area he instead kept me in a reclining chair that didn’t recline back that much. Also they were doing a test code blue over the intercom for all the nurses and instead of moving quickly to the call everyone took there time walking, talking and giggling. Now if only it was a real emergency. I don’t feel like they did the most they could with helping me as all I received was just a blood count test. Worst then the hospital in Palm Coast. But from now on I will just keep my business at Halifax. (a week ago)

Husband had surgery and overnight stay. Staff was phenomenal. Everything was done in an orderly and timely fashion. Atmosphere is pleasant and calming. (a month ago)

My 5 year old and I have both been seen at this hospital within 2 days and I can say that both experiences we the best I have ever had in an ER. The staff is very pleasant on both regular and pedals sides. Very efficient and gave the best care I could have asked for. (3 weeks ago)

I arrived at 9:30am for a ten o’clock appointment to get a port placement. I was immediately shown to a very nice private room where they prepared me for the surgery. Four hours later, they took me into surgery. It was an exhausting and stressful day. They explained they had complications in the procedures performed before me. I woul have accepted this, except that a few weeks before, I reported early in the morning for a colonoscopy. I was prepared for surgery and waiting on the bed until they took me in around 2:30. Is this hospital, as nice as it is, over extended? No one kept us updated while time crawled. (a month ago)

Since December of 2016- In and out of hospital for the same CHF symptoms. Thi s last time her left Breast swelled up to 4 times the size of her right. She had a stroke in January and since then, Left side of her body consistently swells. The Doctor wanted to Diagnose the Breast issue, the Hospital states, they cannot do a Mammogram as an inpatient and so discharged her on 6/14. It is now 6/19 and she has to go back to the doctor today, because her left side and right side is swelling again. The issue with the Breast where some occlusion was seen, was not diagnosed and my mother is possibly going back to the Hospital 5 days later.. Looks like it is time to get an attorney involved, because Medicare patients does not seem to get adequate care, so maybe an attorney will get them to do their job.. .I still get bills, even though she has Medicare and Secondary insurance and her issues have not been resolved. Why should we pay for medical services, when my mother is being discharged with the same symptoms. (4 weeks ago)
