After being told they can't do anything for me and running some basic tests. The nurse removed the iv from my arm I'm guessing without pressure causing me to start bleeding as I was walking out. As I asked for assistance while it ran down my arm a nurse asked if I had been drinking, I had not. I don't know why this happened, I donate blood and plasma and have never had an issue. There was a lot of blood. She wrapped my arm with some medical tape and didn't even give me a wipe to clean off. I cleaned off the blood in the bathroom and went home. I visited for simple reasons of feeling very ill and requested tests that I know are available, but was not given. Given this plus several experiences that I myself, as well as family and friends have encountered. We've decided to just go to another hospital in our emergency situations. My friend recently visited very concerned over her sick baby who has slept for 2 days straight with breathing issues. They only looked in her ears and determined an ear infection without blood tests or any further examination (the total visit was 10 mins even though my friend was distraught) This on top of the extreme Christian influences made me feel as though my health issues are of no concern. I'm not looking for an automated apology, or anything. I'm just sharing my experience. Don't go here. They do not care. (3 weeks ago)

Went into ER with abdominal discomfort, As part of the diagnosis process they did a CT scan. When I received the bill it was 7 times the national average of the price at $8500. STAY AWAY! They price gouge. Across town I can get it done for $400. Staff was very nice, no wait, and it was clean. But I can't afford this type of surprises and I surely won't go there for surgery. I recently had my baby at the Florida Hospital in DeLand. I must say all the nurses were very nice, attentive and present. They provided me with everything I needed and also after the baby was born they were still making sure everything was fine and they helped me with the baby showing me things I had no clue how to handle. 2 seperate days 2 seperate cases. neither one were evaluated. just asked what's wrong, prescribed medicine and discharged. I won't be going to this hospital again. (3 months ago)

Edited to remove details. No diagnostic work done, just guesses. I would go somewhere else if you think you are having a serious medical issue. (4 months ago)
