My pregnant wife was admitted two weeks early due to complications. We stayed a few nights in the birthing ward and we're then housed upstairs by the NICU, where post-cesarean mothers are housed. Every room and every shift nurse was spectacular save the one that ended delivery (just not as good as the rest)! They were very attentive and accommodating. The doctors were all great and straightforward. After a 12 day stay, we saw every ON on the team. What I was very pleased with was the food. We had our pick off of the menu at every meal. I was not surprised by this as I spent 39 days in the AIR six years ago and my meal options were the same. We could actually see my old room from across the 'courtyard '! This was the best place to give birth in the area, perhaps the state! No complaints. A shout out to nurses Jackie and Christie! You two stood out among the other great nurses (who also did a great job). The labor prep class (birthing class) was stupendous and prepared is as much as you can prepare for something so profound. The after-care lactation consultant was SO helpful and instructive! A WONDERFUL experience we look forward to having again, soon! (3 weeks ago)

Ethical problem. My disabled son was having an anxiety/panic attack. I called EMS for transport. The fire department was gracious, kind and helped by calling an ambulance to transport my 24to Son. I arrived, by my personal car, approximately 30 minutes later. I told ER/waiting room area that my Son arrived by ambulance and I needed to get back in ER. No this did not happen. A social worker came out to the ER waiting room. She asked for information about my son. I informed her that he is Autistic and was having a major anxiety/panic attack. She said she did not know anything about Autism and asked me to explain it . I recommended a Doctor should speak to him and calm him and refocus his anxiety. I was NEVER allowed to see my Son. I have Guardianship and Power of Attorney for my disabled child. 2 hours later the Social Worker appeared in the ER waiting room and said he was being released.. ..What?!? He is Autistic! A focused ER physician with Autism knowledge was required. The Doctor NEVER saw my son OR spoke to me. I was stunned and horrified that they stuck him in a PSYCH room back in ER. An EMPTY room with just a chair and cameras on him....no help, no therapist and lack of patient compassion. Yes, I know that Autistic treatment is LIMITED in the Puget Sound. No Doctor EVER spoke to me or my child!!! Really? No ER Physician...stunned!! Never bring a distressed Autistic child to Evergreen. Upon discharged he was in super panic as he was literally STUCK into a psych room with no support. His Legal Guardian was not allowed into his room in ER. Seriously!! Yes, I am astounded, that ethically, he was treated BELOW protocol. I will refuse to ever take any family members, critical or otherwise, to this Hospital. Unethical, unprofessional and not compassionate. Avoid Evergreen Hospital ER for any situation. Sadly, he is completely traumatized from this horrid treatment. Be cautious and honor your disabled child. Find a transparent and dedicated patient focused Staff. (3 months ago)

about 50% BILLS YOU GOT WILL BE BILLED INCORRECTLY - you'll be charged for more than your responsibility! ENOUGH SAID. WILL NEVER GO AGAIN. UW IS MUCH BETTER IN TERMS OF INTEGRITY, HONESTY AND QUALITY. (3 months ago)

They have a great quality system, with many checks built in to prevent errors and provide efficient service. I love the fact that they focus on non-infectious issues, so I can drop in frequently for labwork without being exposed to illnesses unnecessarily. Very expensive facility fees, but it's a very good facility. Only other negative is that it's often quite difficult finding the (long) way from one part of the facility to another. Very large hodgepodge of buildings, poor layout. (4 months ago)

Absolute worst doctor I’ve ever visited. Felt like I was visiting a robot. Incompetent and the charges are ridiculous for blood work. After two visits I came out nearly $1000 short and they couldn’t diagnose my problem. Stay away if you want a decent physician. (3 months ago)
