My 30 weeks pregnant wife drove me to the ER last night. My lungs felt full of fluid, shortness of breath, uncontrollable coughing etc. Dr. Landry tell me I have acid reflux, then insults my wife by calling her fat and telling her to lose weight(other than the baby bump, she definitely isnt fat). I have tried to call the CEO 6 times today always with an excuse given to me of course. My wife drove me on to Vidalia, where I was diagnosed with pneumonia, put on steroids, antibiotics, and breathing treatments. If I had believed the incompetent Dr. Landry at Evans Memorial, I would have ended up in the hospital in a few days with full blown pneumonia. Stay away from this hospital until they fix the problem of Landry. (2 weeks ago)

I would not give this hospital one or even a half of a star. Took my daddy to the ER. A doctor was going to treat my daddy over the computer. My daddy don't do internet or computers. If this ER can't have doctor's there to treat their patients, and physical touch their patients then they don't need to have an ER. I had to transport my daddy to Memorial in Savannah for better care cause they couldn't help him. Very disappointed in this hospital. Would not recommend this hospital for nothing, not even to stich up a cut on my finger. (a month ago)

i loved this place. very nice staff, very clean (4 months ago)

This was a horrible experience. My boyfriend was admitted for GI issues, they took him back immediately while I gave them his information, the receptionist then had me sit in the lobby for 30 minutes and wouldn't let me go back to see him because they were "putting in his catheter." I later asked the receptionist if i could go see him, she ignored me and continued to tell her coworker what to get her for lunch from Dairy Queen. When I finally got back to see him, the room was disgusting and I actually saw a cockroach crawling on his IV tubing. After getting a water bottle from my car, I stood at the front desk for someone to let me back. The receptionist snapped at me " you need to sit down and wait until I'm finished". I had been crying since I came in and she had absolutely no sympathy for me or my boyfriend. I'd say the only good thing about this place is the doctors and nurses who were very nice and genuinely cared. (10 months ago)
