My boyfriend had severe food poisoning. At first I didn't want to go to ETMC because I've heard a lot of bad stuff. But I'm very glad we did. The nurse staff, kitchen staff, everybody helped us out. They were super friendly and did a wonderful job. My boyfriend and I are very happy how we were treated. Thank you ETMC for saving his life!! (3 months ago)

Very unprofessional! I wouldn't even give this hospital one star if I didn't have to. The ER doctor, Dr. Wilson was very rude and unprofessional. I took my daughter in because she was running fever all day and I knew the flu was going around. She couldn't get in to see her regular doctor for a couple of days and I wanted to catch it in time. He was very condescending. He kept asking me why I thought I had to bring her to the ER. That if there was a distress he didn't know about because he didn't see why I thought I had to bring her to the ER. He was sarcastic and told me children get fevers , they get sick and they don't have to come to the ER. He said he just couldn't understand why I felt I had to bring her in. It felt like an interrogation. He was more interested in questioning me then even checking out my daughter. I guess you have to be dying in order to be worth his time. I will never come here again. I came in for a blood transfusion and surgery. Everyone from admission to nursing, housekeeping and dietary has been super nice. They have made this hard situation much better. I would like to thank everyone. (3 months ago)

The only thing about this hospital that is half decent is the comfort level, it's a nice atmosphere. Other than that I would avoid this location like the plague. I've been many times and never once seen anything in the waiting room disinfected, even during flu season. My mother came here just before she was diagnosed with Leukemia and they sent her away as quickly as possible without a diagnosis. Seriously, stay away from this hospital! (4 months ago)

That renovation cost HOW MUCH?? The majority of the staff, both medical and other, seem to only be there to catch a paycheck leaving but a very small percentage that seem to prove the exception. HEY!, ya know those hidden corners, nooks and hallways... THEY need to be CLEANED TOO! When you have a loved one that is ill, at the precipice of a panicked meltdown in dire need of common courtesy, compassion, kindness and professional health care the length that another human provides can embrace the difference between calm, comfort, safety and horrifying desperation. Perhaps that is an additional service that is carefully hidden away in those reems of strictly lawyer legible legal "cover OUR asses as we scrape clean the patient's bank accounts" forms we signed as we sat in those cold, heartless admitting closets. (?) But, THAT was NOT in the renovation plans where those TOTALLY useless water features were... "PRETTY". Henderson has some very thorough and educated medical professionals that obviously COMMUTE to Tyler, Longview or Bugskuffle to care for the sick and injured. Oh WOW, I tell ya... this Henderson, Tx. CLIQUE is firmly immovable when it comes to kindness and acceptance of "OUTSIDERS"! Finally; She's out of her misery now, so I am posting this review for her... one of the many traits that she taught me; when you recognize other human beings in badly trained and in need of education, NEVER hesitate to SPEAK UP. I can literally only find ONE positive aspect of ETMC Henderson: Nurse Roger! (3 months ago)
