Not a great experience. Went into the ER and it took 3+ hours to get a few stitches (not a huge deal, but the ER was nearly empty). The biggest issue is their honesty. They do not stand behind what they say. I went in to get the stitches removed and asked the ER staff if I would be charged for the removal. They said no, so I went ahead and got them removed there. A week later I get a bill in the mail for $250 and Essentia refused to refund it. Their dishonesty is upsetting and I would recommend going to a walk-in clinic or the Sanford ER if you need it. UPDATE [6/15/18]: Essentia has since refunded me for the cost of getting my stitches removed and stated that I shouldn't have been charged in the first place. I do appreciate them trying to make things right even for something that happened a few years ago. I have added a star back to my review, but still was not that happy with the service that I originally received. If I am back there again, I will be sure to re-evaluate the service that I receive and update this review. (a month ago)

It has got to be the most annoying thing ever that this place expands on their current property and then has the employees park a block away. Which wouldn't be so bad if the employees weren't pretentious jerks and walking across the street one by one for a half an hour straight. I would think that they should have to pay for some sort of pedestrian underpass or overpass because of the extreme amount of traffic they have generated in a usually somewhat quiet crosswalk. Or... they could just tell their employees not to be jerks and cross the street more than just trickling one at a time. (a month ago)

If I could give this ER zero stars, I would. I have never been treated less like a human being in my entire life. I have had to go to this ER multiple times, as I have a lot of health problems, and I get treated as though I'm seeking drugs, even when I insist I dont want any. They simply run a blood test, or some other simple test, dont find anything in those one or 2 tests, and decide nothing must be wrong and send you home. About a month ago I had to go in because my hand and arm were so swollen i couldn't even make a fist. I had no knuckles left, and my arm was the size of my leg. They checked for a blood clot, didn't find one, so they sent me home. One visit in particular, I was rolled in on my wheelchair, at a time of total leg paralysis, and a large male nurse proceeded to yell at me and degrade me because he didn't believe I couldn't stand up and get into the bed on my own. I was speechless and left on tears. Fargo needs more options! (a week ago)

My daughter was in the NICU for a couple of months here, and the staff and doctors were great. I appreciate all they did for her!! (a month ago)

Very poor service. Wife went there in pain and got thrown a prescription at and told to fill it in the morning without given anything for pain at 2am. Then got she got treated like a drug addict because of her teeth. (a week ago)
