Excellent attention by the nurses. After going to bigger hospitals & feeling like a number instead of a person it was really nice to feel as though your the only patient in the Hospital. There's a feeling of being in a small town hospital & getting the attention & care of someone famous. From the moment I arrived by Ambulance & was put into a room with a T.V. a very attentive nurse, & actually had a Doctor see me within 5 minutes of arriving to the moment of me writing this review on the 4th day of my stay here, I've been treated with respect and I've felt like a V.I.P. The food is excellent and plentiful and the room's are spacious and clean. I was placed in a private room with an excellent view, big flat screen T.V and plenty of room & seating for any visitors or guests. From now on this is the Hospital I will request to be taken to. I felt as though this place could handle everything from very serious to something small & non emergent. (3 months ago)

Went to visit my brother in law in I. C. U. The security officer up front didn't do his job in directing us to his room. Besides that the nurses were of great help and did a good job on explaining my brother in laws health situation. (a month ago)

Went here back in Febuary with my pregnant wife because she was in pain and spotting. Bad idea, should have went to Modesto because we ended up waiting 6 hours in the waiting room before we were even seen. Meanwhile others walked in and were seen within 30 minutes. Then the bill was ridiculously expensive compared to other hospitals. I'll leave it at this, if you can make it to Modesto, then go there. Turlock has no hospital. (2 months ago)

I think since they remodeled they've gotten alot better than they used to be. Recently I've had a (over all) pretty positive experience going there. They could use more staff working there but other than that, they're good. (5 months ago)

On March 31 around midnight, my mom went to the ER for symptoms of what was later diagnosed to be T.I.A, and the staff there immediately tended to her. During her time in the ER rooms, the staff that cared for her were very courteous, kind, helpful and knowledgeable at what they were doing. The same is said for the Nurses that cared for my mom once she was moved up to the 3rd floor. They were compassionate and always made sure she was comfortable. When my family would leave after visiting my mom, I felt that she was in good hands. I would like to thank all the wonderful doctors and nurses who cared for my mom during her one day and a half day stay at Emanuel! God bless! (a year ago)
