As a family, we have been coming to Dr. O’Donnell’s Office for 28 years! Their staff are family. My girls grew up with Barb & Dr. O’Donnell & now their own children are growing up with them too! We have always found incredible care & quality here & a true sense of compassion every time. As the staff has grown over the years, the foundation still stays true to what they stand for. No matter who is taking care of you, you are in very good hands! Barb & Dr. O’Donnell have become wonderful friends & real partners in our families’ lives & medical care. EVERY STEP of the way over the many years, they have been there for us with very thorough care & concern. Having trust in your doctors & nurses is a very big part of staying with them & knowing you are in good hands. Edward Medical Group is a very special group that my whole family is very grateful for & always will be-THANK YOU ALL & God Bless you all! (3 months ago)

if I could give their emergency room 0 stars I would the staff in the emergency room here are the most unprofessional staff I have ever come in contact with, I asked my nurse about my diagnosis and instead of my nurse answering my questions she basically started yelling at me, I then asked to speak to the charge nurse and she basically came in my room and was also very unprofessional and still was given no info about my care. They called security on me and I wasn’t even yelling at them or threatening them,or anything of that nature just asking about my care because I was in a lot of pain. When coming in my room they did not knock on my door just walked right in and I had only a gown on and kept leaving my door sitting wide open, including the charge nurse. I had to ask them to close the door in order to talk to them about my care. Also I was told that I would receive a call back about my results, and still when I called I was still talked to like there was a problem with me asking questions about my results, I was told that after patients leave they don’t go back in the charts, so I don’t understand why I would be told I would receive a call back about my results, still I didn’t receive any results. I went online to look at my chart that is the only way I was able to revive some type of info. I called back to the emergency department to speak with the charge nurse and she basically hung the phone up on me. While in the hospital I pressed the button to also speak with my nurse and they picked up and hung up on me. This was the worst visit I have had with Edwards after all the years I have come to Edwards. Never have I ever been mistreated the way I was tonight and I have had a baby in the NICU for 4 months and delivered my baby at this hospital. Since I have left the hospital I am still in pain and have to just wait it out until I can see my doctor to get some type of info on what’s going on with me. (a month ago)

The hospital visits have been from terrifying to just ok. The billing dept is AWFUL!!! I’ve never had to deal with billing errors and our accounts going unfixed, calls and messages to get errors fixed not returned from any other doctors or hospitals that we’ve been to in the past, not to mention rude billing staff that do not like to admit when they’re wrong. Many, many times I’ve had to deal with billing errors and our account getting to collections that shouldn’t have. All I got from them was a sorry we dropped the ball...they drop the ball almost every time we’ve had to go there. This time we’re choosing to have our baby somewhere and if there are anymore emergencies, we will drive to seek care at Rush Copley or any other ER room within a reasonable distance. The last doctor that my husband had to see in an Edwards location wrote up false notes that had noting to do with why he went there or how his injury even happened. (Maybe they get paid for more for adding more/false conditions) I don’t know what kind of scam this doctor was trying to pull but it wasn’t until we got our insurance company involved that we found out and they were audited. I wish I knew the doctor name, so I could also review his/her dishonesty! (in the last week)

Yesterday I went with one of friends. He had a surgery which last only a few hours. The nurses and doctors are very helpful. I give them highest rate (a month ago)

My wife had her knee replacement surgery at Edward Hospital in Naperville. From the time we checked in till she was discharged, we had an excellent experience. Every staff member there is very professional, courteous and pleasant to deal with. Thank you everyone at Edward hospital for making it a pleasant experience for us. Keep up the good work and keep smiling. (3 months ago)
