My mom has gone in twice, once to remove a cancer and once to the ER and both times I was surprised how quickly they helped her out. Generally most of the staff was great too. (in the last week)

WORST EXPERIENCE!!!!! I was there recently after a car accident what a mistake. It was my first time there and my LAST!!!!. I was freezing in the ER room, requested a blanket and the nurse told me they ran out!!. I felt I was in a third world or communist country. Then when I was discharged, they told me ok you have been discharged no wheel chair. I was limping due to my knee injury had an awful headache . It’s HORRIBLE!!!! I will never go back!!. Avoid if if you can. The only reason I went there was because it was the closed hospital from where I had the car accident. (a month ago)

I came into the hospital through emergency and ambulance. After they cast my like twice they were going to discharge me still intoxicated and I was on my own I had to go to the bathroom when they put me in the bathroom from wheel chair. I passed out and fell off the toilet. They then did not discharge me because I had heart fibrilation! I was ok with all the Doctor's and Nurses but I had a big issue with my husband coming in to the hospital because he is not a us citizen but we are married by Dade county courts 13 years. I feel that after and staff of 4 coming to my room because I asked to speak to administration the staff started treating me different. One staff member in particular name Linda made me feel like I was a burden. I wanted out of that hospital after that. I have a week bladder and was constantly needing help to bathroom. She came in my room and gave me a look and was like what do you need now? I let her know I can call the nurse instead if she could not do her job and asked why she had attitude with me. I work in public relations and understand body language I just got out of surgery. I understand people are overworked and understaff but when you work in this field know one out of surgery should be treated like she did me. I told her I understood but I left there early, hurt and very upset. The doctor's and Nurses were great but there help needs to understand compassion. I too learned a lot about myself. However sadly disappointed with my treatment. I feel sorry for the elderly people there. God Bless them. (in the last week)

All in all I had a great experience during my recent hip replacement surgery. The staff and the facilities were very professional and comfortable. There is one small complaint I would like to address. I was served 3 meals in my room during my stay and not once was the tray removed. I didn’t think this required a loss of one star but it is an annoyance that can be corrected easily. The hospital gown that inflates with warm air more than made up for this minor issue. Excellent care, as always. Came to the ER with the flu. Waited 10 min and was taken inside! Had three previous rotator cuff surgeries over the past 8 yrs. always excellent care (4 months ago)
