Updated: I upgraded my original 1-Star review. I went up and notifies the front desk receptionist and the problem was addressed and resolved immediately. She apologized and got the tests done. I was out of there within 5 minutes. I appreciate the response. However, a part of me is frustrated that it got to that point and I had to make a fuss for someone to come and get this done. Do not go to outpatient lab unless you plan on being there a significant amount of time. I have been sitting in a patient room and have not been acknowledged by a soul, despot there being only a couple of patients here. The only person to acknowledge us so far was an employee that came to give my 4 year old a little toy after hearing him yell “what is taking so long!” That was nice, but not enough to raise the review. We moved from Salt Lake and usually take our kids to primary children's for an emergency. I was a little nervous on the way to this emergency department but it ended up being one of the best experiences I've had in an E.R. The doctors, nurses, lab and x ray tech were great with my son, knowledgeable and gave him the best care possible. My son was having difficulty breathing and was brought right into a room. We left under 2 hours. Super impressed. Thank you again. (4 months ago)

I came into DRMC after a car accident! Being first taken and treated very poor in Kanab I was hoping I could get some help! I couldn't have asked for better care!! They were wonderful! Thank you so much! (3 weeks ago)

Always busy. Friendly care. ER visits are probably the only negative. Can be extremely long. But understandable based off of the population size they serve. (a month ago)

I cannot believe how wonderful both myself as the patient and my husband were treated so well by your emergency room staff, the staff from the Observation Floor, the nurses' names I remember were Natalie and Connie and also the techs were so kind, caring and so very informative. Then, the staff from the cath lab and Dr were amazing. They kept me so calm with their joking and kindness. I then went to the 2nd floor (cardiac) and again top of the line. I have many medical problems many of which that are serious and have many a stay in different hospitals. We recently came to the area and we are so pleased that a friend told us of your hospital. I can honestly say that each and every employee I came in contact with, were very professional, very calm in demeanor and so very kind and knowledgeable. They all need to be recognized for their true humanitarian professionalism and love of their jobs. Although another illness was diagnosed, I left your hospital feeling so good knowing I was in excellent hands the whole time. Thank you!! (4 months ago)
